A huge congratulations to our Chapter President for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, Mr. Sean Justin F. Espina, for being awarded as Most Outstanding Chapter President during the 80th PICPA ANC. 👏

Our Chapter also garnered the Most Outstanding Chapter award, third time in a row! Congratulations to all Chapter officers of FY 2024-2025 led by Mr. Espina! 🥳

Two more and we'll achieve the Katipunan Award of PICPA. 🙏

The recently concluded 80th PICPA Annual National Convention at SMX Manila is a resounding success! 🥳

Congratulations to PICPA Metro Manila Regions and to all the Committees for making this annual convention a purposeful and a truly unforgettable experience for PICPAns! 👏👏👏

Attended by 107 members from Butuan City - Agusan del Norte Chapter (both onsite and online), the ANC offered not only relevant and insightful technical sessions but also fun, entertainment and generous raffle prizes and of course, the whole new experience of hotbox meals! 😊

🏓 Pickleball Makes Its Debut! 🏓

Did you know? Our Pickleball Tournament held last July 18, 2025, was a first in the history of our Accountancy Week Celebration — and what a smash hit it was!

Chapter members brought the energy, sportsmanship, and plenty of laughter to the court, making the inaugural tournament one for the books. We're hopeful this new addition becomes a fun and much-anticipated staple in future AWC celebrations!

A Meaningful End to Accountancy Week 2025 in Butuan City

The PICPA Butuan City - Agusan del Norte Chapter wrapped up this year’s Accountancy Week Celebration with a heartwarming and action-filled finale!

The day started with a tree planting and nurturing activity in Taguibo, Butuan City — a symbol of our commitment to sustainability and growth, not just in our profession, but for our environment too.

🏀🏐 In the afternoon, camaraderie and competition were in full swing as PICPAns and JPIAns faced off in both basketball and volleyball. Congratulations to the PICPAns for their double win!

The night ended on a high note during our annual PICPA Night. Members of the chapter gathered to reconnect, laugh, and celebrate the success of the week.

Chapter President Krizzia May E. Ybañez opened the program with heartfelt gratitude to all who gave their time and effort to make AWC 2025 unforgettable. We were also honored to hear from Atty. Josefe Ty, former PICPA National President, whose words encouraged and inspired.

🧠 Adding fun to the mix, a trivia game brought out everyone's competitive side. Team Wise took home the win! 🏆

🏅 We also recognized the champions of the week’s sports events — your dedication and team spirit made this celebration extra special.

Finally, Ms. Ernelyn Rose D. Balderas, this year's AWC Chair, formally closed the program, marking the end of a week filled with purpose, pride, and unity.

Accountancy Week Celebration 2025 – Day 3 Highlight

As part of the ongoing festivities for the Accountancy Week Celebration 2025, the officers of PICPA Butuan City – Agusan del Norte Chapter made a courtesy call to the Bureau of Internal Revenue Region No. 17, Caraga Region.

The chapter was warmly received by no less than Regional Director Esmeralda M. Tabule, CESO V, marking a meaningful exchange that underscores the continued collaboration between PICPA and government institutions.
