October 27, 2025, marked a meaningful win for community impact. Rotary Club of Butuan North (our mother club) turned over essential fabric materials to the City Jail’s PDLs (Persons Deprived of Liberty) rug-making livelihood project, arming them with tools to build skills and hope for their future.
Huge shoutout to Rotaract Club of Butuan North Hiraya for joining hands to make this donation seamless and full of heart. Every yard of fabric is a step toward empowerment, and we’re proud to stand with our PDL neighbors in this journey.

October 24, 2025, was a day of purpose and momentum for the Rotaract Club of Butuan North Hiraya, as we laced up our running shoes to join the "World Polio Day: Every Step Counts" End Polio Community Run. We hit the streets of Butuan alongside fellow Rotaractors, community volunteers, and families, each stride a small but intentional stand against polio, a disease that still threatens vulnerable children globally. Our club’s team brought signature spirit to the event, holding up hand-painted signs to spread awareness about polio eradication efforts and collecting small donations from onlookers to support vaccine access in high-risk areas.

Beyond the physical run, the day was a chance to turn awareness into action. Leaving the event, we felt renewed by the collective energy, every step, every conversation, and every small donation reinforced that progress happens when we show up together.

The District19th of October 2025 marked a dynamic check-in for Rotaract clubs in Caraga, as DistrictDistrict Rotaract Representatives (DRR) arrived for a full day of reporting. Every club under the district stepped forward to share updates on their ongoing projects, challenges faced, and future goals, turning the session into a collaborative space for learning and accountability. Our own Rotaract Club of Butuan North Hiraya took the floor with pride, walking the DRR team through our recent community outreach initiatives and upcoming plans to amplify impact in Agusan Del Norte.

Grateful for the DRR’s thoughtful feedback and guidance, we left the session feeling energized to refine our strategies and align more closely with district-wide priorities. This visit wasn’t just a reporting requirement; it was a reminder of the strength of our Rotaract network, where every club’s efforts contribute to a larger mission of service.

July 20, 2025 | "Giving for Life" – Rotary District 3860's Bloodletting Day 2025 in Butuan was a resounding success! United under the theme "Give for Life," eight Rotary Clubs and Rotaract Clubs from Areas 3E and 3F partnered with the Philippine Red Cross and Robinsons Butuan to create a hub of compassion.

The event showcased the true Rotary spirit of "Service Above Self," with community members rolling up their sleeves to donate blood and give the gift of life. With leaders like President Clark Tagonayon and District Governor Elect Arlene Juele Adlawan inspiring action, the day highlighted how a simple act of service can create a ripple effect of volunteerism and health

Making a difference, one tree at a time on September 20, 2025, the Rotaract Club of Butuan Hiraya participated in a tree planting event at Taguibo, Brgy. Pianing, a District Project hosted by the Rotary Club of Butuan East Central. Clubs from different area came together for this important cause.
