The Rotary Club of Central Butuan demonstrated its commitment to club excellence and leadership development at the Vibrant Club Seminar 2026 – Butuan-Surigao-Agusan Leg, held on October 3, 2026, at The Pavilion at Watergate, Butuan City.

The club 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 the required 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, including the Executive Committee, Club Administration, The Rotary Foundation, Membership, Public Image, Service Projects, Youth Service, and Finance.

Representing the club were President Jhoc M. Cordova; Secretary Kenneth Dela Peña Banluta; Club Administration Officer PAG Ryan Jae G. Yap; Auditor IPAG Anthony C. Madayag Jr.; TRF Chair PAG Enrique G. Andres; Youth Service Director DRR Christian Jade G. Azura; Membership Committee Member Antonita N. Meurom; and future club leaders Grace Villahermosa-Andres, Public Image Chair; Ande J. Baulete, Internet and Technology Officer; and Richellie Mae Y. Cordova, Assistant Treasurer.

Through insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and practical workshops, our officers gained valuable knowledge and strategies to 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀 and 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗯'𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆. Having once been recognized as the district's most vibrant club, we remain committed to upholding that distinction through effective leadership, active participation, and meaningful service.

Beyond attending, our members also played key organizing roles in making the seminar a success:

In recognition of its contribution to the event, the Rotary Club of Central Butuan was awarded as one of the Host Organizing Clubs of Area 3F and as the Largest Delegation for Area 3F with ten (10) registrants.

From learning and leadership to active service behind the scenes, our participation reflects the true spirit of Rotary—working together, growing together, and creating lasting impact. We carry these lessons and experiences forward as we continue building a stronger, more vibrant club and serving our community with purpose.

𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 | 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

With 𝟲 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝟮 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, and 𝟲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 present, the Rotary Club of Central Butuan held its 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, led by President Jhoc M. Cordova.

Discussions focused on key club priorities, including the finalization of the proposed 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲, the final briefing for the 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿, and 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for the club’s 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

Adding to the meeting’s highlights, Pres. Justine Messiona shared his 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 and insights from the recently concluded 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in Davao City.

The meeting served as an avenue to exchange updates, strengthen coordination, and prepare for upcoming endeavors. Through active participation and shared commitment, the club continues to turn plans into meaningful service and create a lasting impact in the community.

The Rotary Club of Central Butuan participated in the Area 3E & 3F Tree Growing Activity on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at Brgy. Pianing, Butuan City.

All Rotary Clubs from both areas, led by the Rotary Club of Butuan Highlands, came together in a collective effort to plant 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.

For Rotary, this meaningful activity directly supports 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. By actively participating in environmental initiatives, we help raise awareness, encourage responsible practices, and inspire communities to take collective action in caring for our natural resources.

But 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. The 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 initiatives like this, nurturing what we have planted today so that future generations can benefit from a greener, healthier, and more sustainable environment.

𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 | 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

With 𝟴 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 and 𝟱 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 in attendance, the Rotary Club of Central Butuan convened its 9th Regular Meeting, presided over by Secretary Kenneth Dela Peña Banluta.

The meeting provided updates on several ongoing and upcoming initiatives, including 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 – 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for the 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 – 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻-𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼-𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗴, 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 with 𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲, and the 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 with 𝗦𝗠 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 for the 𝗦𝗠 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁.

Sec. Kenneth also reminded the members with the important 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 on 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, particularly the donation timeline and the 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗥𝗙 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 in November. Initial plans for the club’s 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 were likewise discussed.

Meanwhile, Pres. Jenny Lamadora of the Rotaract Club of Central Butuan–Caraga State University presented their plans and sought the club’s support for their 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, in partnership with the CSU School of Medicine student organization.

The meeting brought together ideas, updates, and opportunities for collaboration, keeping everyone aligned with the club’s goals and upcoming activities. With every discussion comes an opportunity to turn plans into action and service into lasting impact.

Area 3F Assistant Governor Sally Cortel led the 3rd Area 3F Coordination Meeting (ACOM) on September 22, 2026, at Plated Cafe & Bistro, bringing together club leaders to discuss key updates and preparations for upcoming Rotary initiatives.

Among the major agenda items were the Rotary Days of Service – 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 and the 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 in observance of World Polio Day 2026, and updates on the upcoming 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻-𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼-𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗴 on October 3, 2026.

The Rotary Club of Central Butuan was represented by President Jhoc M. Cordova, Secretary Kenneth Dela Peña Banluta, Club Administration Officer PAG Ryan Jae G. Yap, PN Ande J. The Rotary Club of Central Butuan joined the International Coastal Cleanup Global Movement of SM Cares and SM City Butuan on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at Brgy. Sacol, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

The initiative brought 𝟭,𝟯𝟳𝟮 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 together who collected 𝟯,𝟭𝟬𝟵.𝟲 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 along the 𝟭.𝟴 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻 to help 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀, promote 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and create 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, contributing to the vision of a 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿, and 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲-𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀.
