Today we celebrate World Oceans Day, a reminder that our blue planet covers more than 70% of Earthโ€™s surface and sustains all living things. From providing oxygen we breathe to feeding millions around the globe, oceans are the heart of our world. They are home to incredible creatures, vibrant coral reefs and hidden wonders we are still discovering. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ 

But our oceans are in danger. Plastic pollution, overfishing and climate change threaten their health and the life they support. Every action we take matters. From reducing single-use plastics to supporting sustainable fishing practices, we can all be ocean heroes.

Let us work together to protect and restore our oceans for future generations. Because when our oceans thrive, we all thrive!

"June rains arrive, and dengue threats grow if we don't act now! Let's wipe out mosquito breeding grounds today!" ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿงน

June signals the start of the rainy season, and with it comes the risk of dengue spreading rapidly if we do not take action. As part of National Dengue Awareness Month, we are moving quickly to eliminate every place where mosquitoes can breed. We target old tires, empty cans, flower pots, and forgotten corners.

Fight the bite, save a life. Dengue prevention starts with you! ๐ŸฆŸโค๏ธ

Every drop of stagnant water is a potential danger. By clearing out breeding spots, covering water storage, and working together in community cleanups, we can protect our families and neighbors.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
โœ… Remove all stagnant water from containers
โœ… Refresh water in plant pots and pet bowls every two days
โœ… Cover water drums and buckets
โœ… Wear protective clothing outdoors
โœ… Bring friends to join cleanup drives

Our officers came back one last time for the final day of Brigada Eskwela. The first YES-O meeting kicked off to talk through all the activities we'll be running in the coming months. We put the finishing touches on the YES-O room design to make it look amazing, and the YES-O corner is now fully complete and ready to use.

Our officers returned for Day 4 of Brigada Eskwela with the same dedication and teamwork. The day was spent arranging plants around the area to create a greener and more refreshing environment for everyone. We also completed the painting project, giving the space a cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming appearance.

To maintain the cleanliness of our surroundings, the team swept the floors and applied floor wax to make them shine. Important files and documents were also carefully arranged and organized to ensure a more orderly and efficient workspace.

Every plant placed, every floor polished, and every file organized reflects our commitment to making our school a better place for learning and growth. Through our collective efforts, we continue to create a school environment that is clean, organized, and inspiring for all.

Our officers returned once more for Day 3 of Brigada Eskwela. They cleaned and organized the YES-O room to make sure everything is perfectly in place. They swept the area and added new paint to the hallway across from the YES-O room to make it look bright and welcoming.

The Materials Recovery Facility was rearranged to breathe new life into our school grounds. Work has also started on what will become our very own YES-O corner; a special spot made just for environmental learning and activities for all students.

Every surface wiped, every wall painted and every area arranged helps turn our school into a more beautiful and functional place for everyone. Our team is putting their heart into making every part of our space shine.

Our officers were at it again for Day 2 of Brigada Eskwela. They breathed new life into withering and dying plants, carefully transferring each one into beautiful new pots to help them thrive.

The hanging and ground plants were also rearranged to create a more organized and eye-catching display across our school grounds. To top it all off, painting work has begun on what will soon be our YES-O room; getting it ready to host all kinds of exciting environmental activities.

Every pot moved, every plant tended to and every stroke of paint brings us closer to building a more vibrant and inspiring school environment. Our teamโ€™s passion for greening our areas and creating great spaces is truly making a difference.
