The ISEE Bantay Chapter proudly participated in Project Pawikan, an environmental initiative led by the Ilocos Sur Environment Enthusiasts.Represented by our Vice President Rajiv Klayd, our chapter joined this meaningful activity focused on raising awareness about the protection of pawikan or sea turtles one of the most valuable and endangered marine species in the Philippines.Pawikan play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems. They help preserve healthy seagrass beds and coral reefs, which are essential habitats for many marine organisms. Unfortunately, these gentle creatures face serious threats such as plastic pollution, illegal hunting, habitat destruction, climate change, and human disturbance in nesting areas. This is why awareness, education, and collective action are very important. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners who made this activity possible:

𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 Mother Earth 💚
Last February 21, 2026, the 𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, together with the 𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗩𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, successfully conducted “𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵: 𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲” at Brgy. Mindoro, Vigan City.

The 𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 proudly attended and actively participated in this meaningful initiative, showing our continued commitment to environmental protection and coastal conservation.
Mangroves play a vital role in preventing coastal erosion, serving as natural barriers against storm surges, and providing habitats for marine life. Through this activity, we strengthened not only our coastal ecosystems but also our unity as youth advocates for the environment.
Together, we turned love into action—one mangrove at a time.

Last February 2, 2026, the ISEE Bantay Chapter proudly joined the Grand Parade of the Ilocos Sur Festival a true celebration of culture, unity, and the vibrant spirit of the people of Ilocos Sur. 🎉

With pride and purpose, we marched not only to celebrate, but also to show our commitment to environmental awareness and community involvement. 🌿 Together, we stand for culture, community, and conservation.

You carried the name of your hometowns with dignity, strength, and sincerity. On that stage, you were more than contestants—you were ambassadors of your communities, voices of advocacy, and symbols of hope.

The outcome does not diminish your worth, your effort, or the courage it took to stand under those lights and give your all. Your journey inspired many, and your commitment to serve and represent speaks louder than any final result.

You may not have taken home the crown, but you brought honor to your cities and municipalities—and that is something no one can ever take away.

ISEE Bantay takes part in shaping a greener 2026.

As 2026 begins, the ISEE Bantay chapter participated in the 2025 Year-End Performance Assessment and the Strategic Alignment and Action Planning for 2026 on January 10–11, 2026, held at Kadilyan Eco Park, Solot-solot, San Juan, Ilocos Sur.

The activity served as a venue for reflection and collaboration among ISEE chapters, allowing us to assess our past PPAs, strengthen our strategic direction, and renew our shared commitment to environmental protection, community service, and sustainable development.
