The 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 (𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘) together with 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗼 will conduct 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗚: 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 at the 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁, 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿.

This initiative aims to empower communities, especially the youth, through 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, and 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. Guided by its three pillars—𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲—Project KALASAG seeks to build resilient communities that are informed, prepared, and ready to take action.

The 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 (𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘) successfully implemented 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗦: 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 by distributing sustainable school bags to 𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆-𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 (𝟮𝟵) 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 of Barangay Lubong, San Vicente, Ilocos Sur, on May 31, 2026.

More than providing school essentials, the initiative reflects ISEE’s commitment to 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 Each bag distributed symbolizes hope, opportunity, and encouragement for learners as they prepare for the new school year.

Today, we celebrate the beauty, abundance, and importance of our oceans—the lifeblood of our planet and home to countless marine species.

Our oceans provide food, regulate the climate, generate oxygen, and support millions of livelihoods. Yet, they face growing threats from pollution, overfishing, habitat destruction, and climate change.

As stewards of the environment, let us take action to 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀 through 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, and 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. Every small action counts in creating a healthier and more resilient ocean for future generations.

This 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 (𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗘), through 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗵𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝟮, will bring environmental learning and fun-filled activities to the children of 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗟𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲, 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿.

Participants will revisit important topics on 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀, 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. They will also discover the contents of an 𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗴, experience “𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹,” learn 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 explore 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗯𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 through the “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘆 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝘁?” Session.
