The BS in Hospitality Management – Events Management Class of 2026 successfully conducted the seminar “Professional Readiness: Essential Skills and Values for the Workplace”.

The seminar was attended by students from the different colleges of Lyceum of Aparri, namely the College of Commerce, College of Engineering, College of Teacher Education, College of Criminal Justice, College of Liberal Arts, and College of Information and Computing Sciences.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our four resource speakers: Sir Ferdinand Dela Cruz, LPT, who discussed Resume Writing; Dr. Evelyn L. Pascua, PhD, CESO III, who shared her expertise on Interview Etiquette; Ma’am Crystal Mae S. Egipto, RPM, CHRA, who discussed Professional Development and Workplace Ethics; and Mr. Christian Joseph L. Formaran, RCRIM, who presented Workplace Harassment Awareness.

Through this seminar, the students gained valuable knowledge and practical skills in preparing their resumes, handling job interviews, developing professionalism, practicing proper workplace ethics, and recognizing and preventing workplace harassment. These learnings will help them become more confident, responsible, and prepared as they take their first steps toward their future careers.

The seminar served as a meaningful opportunity for students to learn, grow, and prepare themselves for the challenges and responsibilities of the professional world.

APARRI, Cagayan — The Lycean – Official Student Publication of the Lyceum of Aparri organized a journalism workshop on September 25, 2026, at the AVR, with the theme “Developing Journalistic Resilience: Enhancing Writing Skills for Greater Reach.” Ten student representatives from each department joined the editorial board for a day of lectures and activities led by Mr. Raymond Romeo Quintua Domingo, CRP, LPT, MAEd. The program opened with a plenary session on the foundations of journalism, covering its background and verification processes.

The morning session centered on news writing, where participants produced articles that were reviewed and judged by Mr. Domingo, with several outstanding works recognized. In the afternoon, the focus shifted to feature writing. After a lecture on techniques and approaches, students once again submitted outputs, and the most notable papers from both the Basic Education Department and the colleges were commended.

The workshop wrapped up with the awarding of certificates of participation to the attendees and a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Domingo. The event illustrated The Lycean’s effort to sharpen the skills of campus journalists and sustain the quality of its official student publication.

Outreach is not just about giving, it’s about connecting, sharing smiles, and recognizing our shared humanity. Today, our hearts are full as we spent a meaningful day through our Feeding Program at Brgy. Gaddang, Aparri, Cagayan.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the participation and support of our HM students, Faculty, and Commerce OIC-Dean.

Thank you to everyone who shared their time, effort, and love to make this possible. Together, we prove that small acts of kindness can truly change a life! ✨💞
