With solemn hearts, we bid farewell to Pope Francis, a servant of servants, whose life was a testament to humility, mercy, and unwavering faith. His voice called us to care for the poor, protect creation, and walk together in love. As we commend his soul to the eternal embrace of the Father, we carry forward his legacy of hope and compassion for generations to come.

Eternal rest grant unto the soul of Your servant Francis, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 "𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕" 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒓

The Paschal Triduum is the holiest and most solemn time in the Church’s liturgical year, unfolding over three sacred days: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. This period is not just a chronological remembrance but a profound entrance into the mystery of Christ’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection. The liturgies of the Triduum are rich in symbolism and grace, drawing the faithful into the heart of salvation history. Holy Thursday celebrates the gift of the Eucharist and the institution of the priesthood, as Jesus, kneeling to wash the feet of His disciples, reveals the true nature of servant leadership and sacrificial love.

On Good Friday, the Church gathers in silence to venerate the Cross and recall the immense suffering and death of Christ. It is a day of mourning, yet also of deep reverence because in the seeming defeat of the Crucifixion, the victory of redemption is being accomplished. The Cross becomes not a symbol of shame, but of triumph, as Jesus, the Lamb of God, takes upon Himself the sin of the world. This act of total self emptying love fulfills the Scriptures and opens the way to reconciliation between humanity and God.

The Triduum reaches its climax in the Easter Vigil, the "mother of all vigils" where darkness is shattered by the light of the Resurrection. This liturgy moves from sorrow to joy, from death to life. Through readings that trace the story of salvation, the blessing of water, the renewal of baptismal promises, and the first glorious Alleluia, the Church proclaims the Risen Christ. The tomb is empty, and death has been conquered. For Christians, the Paschal Triduum is not simply a memory of past events, but a living participation in the mystery that gives meaning to our faith: that through Christ, we too may pass from death to life.

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, we reflect on his unwavering faith, humility, and obedience to God’s will. As the earthly father of Jesus, Joseph shows us that holiness often resides in the quiet, hidden moments of life. His trust in God’s plan, even in uncertainty, calls us to live with the same courage and devotion in our own vocations. May Saint Joseph’s example inspire us to serve, protect, and love as he did.

O God, who in Your loving providence chose Blessed Joseph to be the spouse of Your Most Holy Mother, grant us the favor of having him for our intercessor in heaven, whom on earth we venerate as our protector. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Winning the HIYAYAW Cheerdance Competition three times in a row is more than just a championship—it is proof that passion, resilience, and unity can lead to greatness. This grand slam victory is not just a title; it is the product of perseverance, teamwork, and the unbreakable Phoenix spirit.

This journey was not easy. Night after night, the dancers trained with unwavering dedication, perfecting every motion in rehearsals that stretched until 8 PM. The props makers devoted themselves to creating stunning visuals that transformed the performance into a spectacle. Every leap, every stunt, every synchronized step was a result of commitment and discipline.

This achievement was made possible through the guidance and support of Dr. Evelyn L. Pascua and Mrs. Imelda Franco. The Student Body Organization, led by Governor Sean Dwayne Articulo, stood as a source of strength and encouragement. The faculty’s unwavering belief in the team and the parents’ constant support fueled this success. Special appreciation is given to Mr. Cedric Sales, the brilliant choreographer whose creativity and expertise shaped the team's breathtaking performance. With his guidance, the dancers executed routines filled with power, precision, and emotion, leaving an unforgettable mark on the competition.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the former Phoenix cheerdancers, whose legacy and support inspired this team to soar higher. Their encouragement, presence, and belief in the new generation of performers proved that once a Phoenix, always a Phoenix. This victory belongs not only to those on the mat this year but also to those who paved the way.

Today, we celebrate the memorial of Saint Thomas Aquinas, a priest from the Order of Preachers (Dominican) and a Doctor of the Universal Church.

We reflect on the life of a man whose brilliance was matched only by his humility. Known as the 'Angelic Doctor,' he taught that faith and reason are not opposing forces but work together to lead us to divine truth. His writings, prayers, and devotion to the Eucharist remind us of the importance of grounding our intellect in the love of God. As we honor his legacy, may we strive to emulate his dedication to seeking truth, serving others, and placing God at the center of all we do.
