I’m not always great at putting days like this into words.

The colour, the noise, the crowd, the tiny details, the chaos, the way the whole street feels alive. It’s a lot to explain.

But I do feel like we know how to photograph it.

Still one of our absolute favourite frames from last year’s Whangārei Santa Parade. Big community events have so much feeling in them, and we love trying to capture all of it.
