Te Rewarewa lies very close to the city and the harbour, within the city boundary, and is one of the last large Māori land holdings near Whangārei City. Te Rewarewa is a Māori incorporation managed by a Committee of Management of seven, with Committee members elected at an Annual General Meeting of shareholders.
