🧸Hutt Multicultural Playgroup Update – Term 3

Kia ora Whānau,

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are looking forward to Term 3. 💛

Unfortunately, due to ongoing repair work at the War Memorial Library, the mezzanine floor is still unavailable. This means Hutt Multicultural Playgroup will not be able to resume at the beginning of Term 3 as planned.

We know many families have been looking forward to coming back. Our weekly playgroup has become a special place where families from different cultures connect, children play and learn together, and lifelong friendships are built. We truly miss seeing all your smiling faces.

The library has advised that the repairs are expected to continue for at least another two weeks. We will keep you updated and let everyone know as soon as we have a confirmed reopening date.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. ❤️ We can't wait to welcome everyone back for more stories, songs, crafts, celebrations, and fun together.

See you all very soon!

Kia ora families,

Due to unexpected building maintenance at the library, the mezzanine floor is currently closed and we are unable to access our usual playgroup space this week. There is also limited space available on the ground floor, so unfortunately we will need to cancel this week’s Hutt Multicultural Playgroup session.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and thank you all for your understanding.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy break. We look forward to seeing you all again in Term 3!

Ngā mihi,
Hutt Multicultural Playgroup Team

Dear all HMP parents, grandparents, educators and friends,

I hope you and your families are safe and well.

Apologies for the late update. Due to the Wellington regional State of Emergency, Lower Hutt school closures, and local libraries being open to support evacuation efforts, we have decided not to run the playgroup session tomorrow.

Please stay safe at home and take care. We look forward to seeing you again next Tuesday. 💛
