‘Mā te ngākau aroha koe e ārahi.’
Let a loving heart guide your decisions.

Our whanaunga, Te whānau Perenara-O’Connell, have generously blessed our Kōhanga yet again.
Words cannot truely express have grateful we are to your whānau for your continued support and presence all the way from Te Waipōunamu.

Our babies are truely cloaked in aroha and manaaki.

Last term our mokopuna were learning about Rehua and Matariki.
They focused on the healing and wellbeing both provided.
As a part of their learning we explored rongoa Māori.
At the end of the term our mokopuna used the cold-press method to infuse the healing properties of Kawakawa into olive oil.
Today we strained their oil and combined it with pure beeswax to make Kawakawa Balm.
