Te Rima Ōrau - The 5% Kiaora whānau. Te Rima Ōrau is a Registered, not-for-profit, charity organization. You can find more information on our deed and charity in the link below.

We are seated with 9 committee members from our beautiful community of Central Hawkes Bay. All united by sharing the same ambitions, the same passion and the goal of better supporting our rangatahi by providing and connecting them with services they need. Our primary purpose of the Trust is to support the breaking of intergenerational cycles of benefit dependency, violence, substance abuse and oth

er social and economic deprivation by the support, mana enhancing, and development of youth. We look to provide a range of health, education and social services based on Kaupapa Māori practices within Tamatea District with and emphasis on meeting the specific needs of Māori. To encourage wellness from a holistic perspective, incorporating physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual and mental wellbeing of our rangatahi and their families. The goal of the Trust is to reduce criminal offending and social disadvantages by assisting rangatahi to develop and grow as confident, contributing members of society. https://www.register.charities.govt.nz/Charity/CC61151

As most of you may have seen, we could be in for another extremely windy day tomorrow (Thursday) hopefully the metservice have it wrong 🤞 batten down the hatches, secure anything that may go flying, and DONT LIGHT ANY FIRES, TOTAL FIRE BAN until Tuesday, yep sorry folks that means no lambs tails over the fire pit on the long weekend.
And if you do see any fire or smoke, dont hesitate to call 111, we'd rather people be proactive, as with this wind, things can get out of control fast.
Stay safe 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒
