A big thank you to everyone who came along today to celebrate Nils' final week at Multicultural Aoraki.

Nils, thank you for everything you have done for Multicultural Aoraki and for our wider community. Your leadership, dedication, and passion have made a lasting impact on so many people, and we are incredibly grateful for all your hard work over the years.

While we will certainly miss having you around the office, we are pleased to know that you will still be involved in supporting our community. We wish you all the very best as you begin this exciting new chapter, and new journey.

This morning, we had a great meeting with the Filipino Basketball Group and Elvie Tecson. It was an excellent discussion about how we can work together to strengthen and support our Filipino Community, as well as create more opportunities for our young people through basketball.

We are excited about the upcoming basketball programme for children and families on Sunday, 28 June, starting at 10:00am at Mountainview. This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to stay active, learn new skills, make friends, and have fun.

Thank you to the Filipino Basketball Group for coming in to meet with us. It was great to explore ways that Multicultural Aoraki can support and collaborate with the community. Strong partnerships help build stronger communities, and we look forward to working together.

A big thank you to Volunteering Mid & South Canterbury for inviting us to their Volunteer Breakfast this morning.

It was wonderful to celebrate and acknowledge the amazing volunteers who give their time, energy, and dedication to making our communities stronger and more connected.

Congratulations to all volunteers for the incredible work you do. Your commitment, kindness, and willingness to serve others do not go unnoticed. Whether you volunteer a few hours or many, your contribution makes a real difference in the lives of so many people.

You are truly special, and we sincerely appreciate everything you do for our communities.
