Seeking an Interim Manager
Colville Junction is based in the heart of the remote Northern Coromandel Peninsula, and
enables community services, programmes, development and other projects.
Role: Interim Manager, 1-year fixed term, part-time (sabbatical cover)
A diverse portfolio that includes:
● Operational Leadership: Keeping our community center, programmes and services
running smoothly, and maintaining a positive team culture.
● Compliance & Administration: Managing existing grants, meeting legal and
reporting expectations , ensuring long-term fiscal health, and working with the Board.
● Community Connection: Being the face of the Junction, building relationships with
local iwi, residents, and stakeholders.
● Strategic Stewardship: Implementing our Strategic & Delivery Plans
Who You Are
● Management Grit: Experience in the NGO or community sector. You know how to
balance a budget and lead a team with empathy.
● Adaptability: You can shift from high-level strategic meetings to helping solve a
technical glitch in the community center.
● Cultural Heart: A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the values of
Whanaungatanga and Manaakitanga.
● Communication Skills: The ability to represent our remote community to national
funders and local residents alike.
