Join us for an evening! Let's sing! We’re a group of guys who love singing because, above all, it’s such fun. We always welcome new members.

Uplifting a ca****la, powerful barbershop sound, and a welcoming community where you can enjoy live music, be part of the fun, and maybe discover a new passion for singing. We get together on Monday evenings and have a great time singing a varied repertoire of evergreen standards and contemporary hits. We focus on the barbershop style because of the richness of the sound and the challenge it offer

We're sad to share that one of our founding members, Ross Gainsford, passed away last week. Ross held many positions within the chorus, but we really relied on him to guide the baritone section. There was nobody else like Ross... he could hear things only dogs could hear, was unbelievably passionate and supportive, only wanting the best for everyone. Ross will leave a huge hole in the chorus, both vocally, but also his enthusiatic personality will be missed.

Ross' Celebration of Life is at Knox Presbyterian Church, 574 High Street, Lower Hutt, on Monday June 8th at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

Had a great performance coaching session with the wonderful Rachel Roberts last night. Sadly, forgot to get a photo (if there's no photo, did it really happen?). Looking forward to next week, where we get a chance to own this stuff by ourselves.

Tonight's rehearsal is cancelled. The weather warning has been upgraded to a RED level, so please stay home, stay warm, and stay safe!

We'll see you next Monday. We'll be having a rehearsal on ANZAC Monday, with a special quartet performance!

For those that are able to attend, Graeme's Celebration will be on Saturday 7th March at 10am, at Knox Presbyterian Church in Lower Hutt. The chorus will be there, and we'll be singing Irish Blessing (the version from the Ritz quartet) as part of our tribute to Graeme. If you're interested in attending and/or singing, please feel free. The request from the family is to wear "bright colours".

We've decided to cancel tonight's rehearsal. There's power out at our venue currently, and travel across Wellington is proving to be fun right now... we'll be back on deck next Monday night! See you then!

Sad news from the chorus this week... One of our founding members, Graeme Gainsford, sadly passed away after a number of years fighting illness. Graeme formed the chorus in 1988, was the front line director until 1995, and was tenor section leader and assistant director for many years after that. God speed Graeme. You will be missed!

Fun fact, the baritone of this quartet, Mr Bill Thompson, was a member of the chorus back in our early years. Bill was based in Wellington for a time and set up a lot of the foundations of what we've become.
