Kiwiora Community Trust KiwiOra was borne out of our experiences of working with people and communities Aotearoa New Zealand is a great country to live in.

THE OBJECTIVE - is to create initiatives, educational workshops, seminars as well
as outreach programs that reach people at the grassroots level of the local
community.And to provide them with wellness support, educational support and support in terms
of basic needs where needed or where feasible, so that they are able to live fulfilled
and good lives.To proactively create events, initiatives as well as outreach programmes into these
communities; to bring about positive change and to create an ability for them to not
just survive, but thrive, in these challenging times. And everyone one in Aotearoa
deserves to live a good life. However, like the rest of the world at the moment, it too
has its challenges, and we want do our bit to help kiwis face those challenges.

❤️ Empowering Children to Save Lives! 🚑🩹

Today, we held our final workshop in our Emergency Response Programme, with the aim of teaching children essential first aid skills and helping them understand how they can respond in an emergency and potentially save lives.

It has been an amazing journey, and we are so proud of all the children who participated, learned new skills, and took an important step towards becoming more confident and prepared to help others. 🌟

A huge THANK YOU to Lottery Grants for supporting this programme! Your generous support helped make this experience even more special, ensuring that every child went home with snacks and their own first aid kit to continue their learning beyond the workshop. 🎒🩹

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to RadioSpice for collaborating with us on this final workshop. Your involvement helped make the day even more memorable, and we truly appreciate your support in bringing this important learning opportunity to our community. ❤️

And of course, a very special thank you to the St John educators for sharing your knowledge, expertise, and practical first aid skills with the children. Thank you for making learning engaging, meaningful, and fun!

Together, we are helping children build confidence, develop life-saving skills, and understand that even small actions can make a big difference when someone needs help. 🙌

🎉 Class 5 completed — just one more to go! 💻

Today was our 5th digital skills class, and we’re getting closer to the finish line! 🙌

This week, we learned how to share documents online and explored the very useful (but definitely challenging! 😅) skill of adding an e-signature.

Adding an e-signature turned out to be the most challenging part of the class — but everyone gave it a great try and kept practising! 💪✨

One more class to go! We’re so proud of everyone’s progress and can’t wait to see what we’ll learn next. 🌟
