Kiwiora Community Trust KiwiOra was borne out of our experiences of working with people and communities Aotearoa New Zealand is a great country to live in.

THE OBJECTIVE - is to create initiatives, educational workshops, seminars as well
as outreach programs that reach people at the grassroots level of the local
community.And to provide them with wellness support, educational support and support in terms
of basic needs where needed or where feasible, so that they are able to live fulfilled
and good lives.To proactively create events, initiatives as w

ell as outreach programmes into these
communities; to bring about positive change and to create an ability for them to not
just survive, but thrive, in these challenging times. And everyone one in Aotearoa
deserves to live a good life. However, like the rest of the world at the moment, it too
has its challenges, and we want do our bit to help kiwis face those challenges.

This program acts as a safety net for anyone in our community who needs a bit of extra food support right now—there is absolutely no judgment here, and everyone is welcome.

We are thrilled to present the Japanese & Chinese Tea Workshops at Takapuna Library on Sunday, 14 June! Supported by the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board, this is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the elegant rituals and history of traditional tea preparation.
You can choose to attend one or experience both:
🟢 Japanese Tea Ceremony Workshop
⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
👥 Strictly limited to 12 participants
🔴 Chinese Tea Arts Workshop
⏰ Time: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
👥 Strictly limited to 15 participants

Hey team! We have a small supply of liquid children's paracetamol and ibuprofen available at the Trust for families who might need it right now.
we have a limited stock of each (around 10 bottles total per item):
Paracetamol Liquid Oral Suspension (120mg/5mL) - Strawberry Vanilla Flavour. Suitable for children aged 3 months to 6 years. (Note: These bottles expire in July 2026).
Fenpaed Liquid Oral Ibuprofen (100mg/5mL) - Strawberry Flavour, colour/alcohol/sugar-free. For infants and children. (Note: These boxed items expire in October 2026).
If you are currently running short or need a bottle for your household's medicine cabinet ahead of winter, please feel free to pop into our office at 1 Elliot Street, Papakura to collect one.

Today we kicked off our very first session of the Digital Literacy Level 2 class at Tzu chi foundation NZ📱💻
We are so thrilled to be collaborating with the wonderful team at Tzu Chi on this 6-lesson project. This round is specially focused on empowering our elderly community members, helping them build on their tech skills, gain confidence, and stay connected in a digital world. 🌟
We hope that by the end of these 6 weeks, everyone learns heaps and gains exactly the knowledge they were hoping for!

A massive thank you to the Manurewa Local Board for their wonderful support in funding these beautiful flower arrangements for the residents at Totara Hospice.
There is something so magical about the power of fresh flowers. Seeing the vibrant colors and beautiful blooms arrive brought so many smiles, warmth, and good vibes to the residents and staff alike. It’s amazing how a simple gesture can lift spirits and fill a space with comfort and joy.

A massive thank you to all the amazing community members who came down today to support our public health vaccination drive! Your health and well-being are everything to us, and it was incredible to see so many of you taking proactive steps to look after yourselves and your whānau.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the temple for graciously hosting us today, providing the perfect space for this event, and supporting our mission to keep the community safe and healthy.

Panmure whānau, don’t toss out your favorite clothes just because they have a tear or a missing button! Our team will be at the Panmure Library for another 7 weeks, ready to help you repair them.

Together, we can give a second life to our old, torn clothes and textiles, keeping them out of landfills and saving money.
