Lily is another one of our amazing volunteers. She is a great sidewalker relating well to all our riders with her kind, caring personality. Lily is also fantastic with the horses and a competent horse leader. Thanks, Lily!

This week, we celebrate national volunteer week.
Southland rda has an absolutely amazing team of volunteers.
We are extremely grateful to every one of them for giving up their valuable time to volunteer with us.
Our volunteers do everything from sidewalking/leading, feeding horses, exercising horses, helping at community events, ground maintenance, and committee members.
This week, we will introduce you to a few of our volunteers.

Southland Rda would like to say a very big thank you to Gardyne's Grain for donating us a big supply of grain to keep our horses well feed this winter and more! This will be a huge help in lowering our feed bill. Support like this is what enables us to continue helping our riders.

We have had a busy start to the week. The lovely team from Vetsouth Invercargill came on Monday to do some of our horses' dentals.
Yesterday was a full/fun day with riders showing great skills in completing their forming a special bond.

We would like to say a huge thanks to the Leo club at James Hargest College, who generously gave us a donation which we have used to buy lovely new poles. Our riders are enjoying the new colors, and our volunteers appreciate the much lighter to carry soft poles. They are also great for making bendy tracks.
