It's the 🪛💥FINAL OPOTIKI REPAIR CAFE FOR 2025🎉 🧰 on Saturday 29 November, 10am to noon, at the Opotiki Arts Center in King Street.

This is an opportunity to do something great this Christmas, and bring in your broken toys for fixing, if you would like to donate them to kids less fortunate , we will make sure those kids get them.

As usual, our awesome and skilled volunteer repairers will also be ready to fix your household stuff - watches, clocks, clothing, appliances, guitars and ukuleles, woodwork - you name it!

Come in for a cuppa and some yummy Christmas treats.

Tonight there is an opportunity to attend a korero about a Container Return Scheme with Zero Waste. 6pm at the Library, and there will be snacks 😋 😀
This is a super important scheme that provides incentives to recycle certain containers and cans, and has transformed the waste landscape in other countries.

Please come along!!

A container deposit return scheme is a practical, cost effective way to help New Zealanders reduce litter, waste less and recycle more. Schemes are already being used in 57 countries and states to collect drink containers and cover the real cost of recycling. Surveys show 80% of New Zealanders want....
