He Pānui:

Te Hiki i te Rāhui ki runga i ngā awa me te Moana a Te Moana Nui a Toi ki Ōhiwa

Kua hīkina te rāhui ... He mea whakatū hoki nāna ki runga ki ngā moana he mea whakaū.

The rāhui placed across the waters of the Ōtara and Waioweka rivers, Pākihikura harbour, and Te Moana Nui a Toi to Ōhiwa, has been lifted this morning.

We acknowledge and thank our whānau, hapū, communities and all those who have respected and upheld the rāhui during this time.

As the rāhui is lifted, we continue to hold the whānau pani close in our thoughts and extend our aroha and manaaki to them in the days ahead.

Thank you also to all those who have provided awhi and support throughout the search, recovery and return to whānau.
