Tuatahi - I whakatau mai te Roopu Te Herengā Āhuru i rūnga i te karanga o te pere...kātahi ka hāpati tātou.

Tuarua - ka timata i ngā 'workshops'...

Te Tāonga Pūoro - I akohia e mātou i te orokohanga o te oro mā te whakapapa mai i a Rangi rāua ko Papatuanuku... me te rangi o te waiata mai i a Hineraukatauri..
He kii anō tā mātou kete matauranga.... ❤️
I hangaia e mātou tētahi tāonga pūoro mai te uku.

Tai Chi - he nekehanga kia ngāwari ai te whakamahana i te tinana ....he tino ngāwari ki ngā kuia.

Tuatoru - Rongoa Māori. Ko Lily Martin te Kairongoa.

Te hanga hīnaki te mahi...yeeeea

Anei ngā whakaahua o ētahi tamariki o Omarumutu Kura me Waiotahe Kura e hanga hīnaki ana.

He ngohe tēnei mai te wānanga wiki tuatoru.. he tuna te kaupapa.

Waimārie a mātou tamariki ki te rongo atu ki ngā tikangā, ngā kōrero hītori hoki o te tuna ki te awa o Waiotahe.

I timata te kōrero tuatahi mai te ōrokohanga o te tuna me tōna hoki ki roto i te Moana nui a Kiwa ki o rātou kainga tuturu o rātou ūkaipo...the Kermedecs.

I te wā ka tae atu ki te wai tai (salt water) ka tīni i tōna āhua pērā ki te ika. Ko tēnei ahuatanga, he pupuhi tōna māhunga kia koi tōna waha, ihu hoki....ā ka taka te hāwareware mai ōna whatu ka tahuri taua wā ki te tae kikorangi...he mea hei whakapakari o rātou kitenga i roto i te waitai.

Beloved brother Johnnie to all his siblings.
Longtime partner of Shorty.
Father and father in law of Frances, Bridget, Nicosia and Temapu, Curtis and Georgie and Mana and Zara, Fabian and Claire.
Loved Koro to all his mokopuna and moko tuarua.

Passed away on the Gold Coast. Our dad will return to our brother Curtis’ home in Upper Coomera and will then be cremated and returned to his whenua at a later date.

Deadline for enrolments and ID is 21 June 2026.

A reminder that we need to reach a minimum of 12 enrolments to proceed with the programme. Further enrolments can be submitted from thereafter until the above closing date/2nd wānanga.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Koro, Walter Waikato Ihe (Poi).
25 May 1945 - 21 May 2026.

Koro will lay at home - 19 Tahara Crescent Arataki from 5pm tonight for those wanting to pay their respects. He will stay here until his birthday on Monday then we will be taking koro home to Waiotahe and spend 1 night at the marae then koro will be laid to rest with the best in the valley (Waiotahe) on Tuesday 26/05. Come chill, laugh, have a kai and cry the door is open.
