🎥 Throwback to Last Year's Bike Show

As we start gearing up for this year's Give Prostate Cancer the Finger – Bobby's Bike Show, I thought it would be a great time to share this interview with Goose from last year's event.

Watching this brings back so many memories and reminds us why this event means so much to our whānau. What started as a way to support Bobby through his prostate cancer journey has become a way to continue his legacy, raise awareness, and bring together an incredible community of riders, supporters, sponsors, friends, and whānau.

Although Bobby is no longer with us, his spirit remains at the heart of everything we do. This event continues because of the love and support of so many people, including our children, Conlan and Caeleigh, who proudly carry their dad's memory forward.

A huge thank you to Goose for helping us share our story and for supporting the event.

Kia ora whānau,

I know I’ve been really quiet online lately, and I just wanted to acknowledge that.

Life has been lifing in some pretty big ways. Earlier this year, I lost my beautiful mum and we also had to say goodbye to our dog at the same time. It has been a lot to carry, and I’ve needed time to breathe, grieve, and find my feet again.

I’m still here. Still slowly moving. Still working behind the scenes when I can. Some days are productive, some days are just about getting through — and that’s okay too.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, sent love, or simply held space without needing anything from me. I appreciate it more than you know.

I’ll be easing back into posting and sharing updates again soon, especially around Bobby’s Bike Show 2026 and the kaupapa that means so much to us.

One step at a time.

💙 We did it, whānau! 💙

Because of your aroha, support, and generosity — Give Prostate Cancer the Finger has officially placed #34 on the national leaderboard and been recognised as a Blue Legend 🏅, raising an incredible $2,746 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ!

That means our fundraising will help provide 91 people affected by prostate cancer with vital nurse-led support — free information, care, and hope when they need it most. 💪

Every raffle ticket, every sausage sizzle, every donation, every bike that rolled in — it all made a difference.
This is what community looks like.

Bobby’s legacy continues because of you all. 💙

What an amazing day 🏍️💙
Numbers might’ve been a bit lower than usual, but wow — the generosity was through the roof 🙌

On the day we raised $1,510.90, and with $700 in donations leading up to the event, that’s a grand total of $2,210.90 heading towards the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ 👏👏
