October is Baby Loss Awareness Month and in honour of all those little lives that have brought us all together Sands Hawkes Bay have teamed up with some wonderful local businesses to bring some special community events. We will do our best to keep you well-informed but if you do have any questions please don't hesitate to send us a message or email us on [email protected]. As a new month arrives we send our aroha to all those whānau whose precious little one/s have a special day in October and honour their little lives. Whilst their time with us may have been brief their memory lives on and the love we have for them continues to grow. We would love to know more about your precious pēpi and how you choose to celebrate them on their special day/s. We invite you to share their name, a photo or a memory that you hold dear to you with us so we can remember them with you too. 💜🧡

Kia ora Sands whānau. With Baby Loss Awareness month approaching we have a few events coming up in October to foster connection, offer support from those who 'get it' and commemorate those little lives that brought us together.

Here is an outline of these events with further details to follow:

⭐️ Wednesday 7th October - Yin and Connect at Yippie Yopi Yoga (Yin yoga with Nino followed by an opportunity to meet and connect with others navigating life after the loss of their precious pēpi).

⭐️ Saturday 10th October - Yin and Cacao Circle at Yippie Yopi Yoga for Sands whānau and those whose lives have been touched by baby loss.

⭐️ Sunday 11th October - Sands HB will be at Pak'n'Save Tamatea raising awareness for Baby Loss Awareness Week.

⭐️ Wednesday 14th October - Yin and Connect at Yippie Yopi Yoga (Yin yoga with Alison followed by an opportunity to meet and connect with others navigating life after the loss of their precious pēpi).

⭐️ Thursday 15th October - Wave of Light service at Dunstall's Funeral Services from 6.15pm

⭐️ Wednesday 21st October - Yin and Connect at Yippie Yopi Yoga

⭐️ Monday 26th October - 10km walk/jog/run followed by a time to connect at Perfume Point, Ahuriri

⭐️ Wednesday 28th October - Yin and Connect at Yippie Yopi Yoga

We are also working with Kristen at Growing through Grief to facilitate a series of small group sessions in November.
