❄️ Feeling the chill? Warm your hands and your heart. ☕

Here at Community Patrol, we're proud to work alongside some incredible organisations that help keep our community safe and cared for every day. One of those is Hato Hone St John. 💚🚑

So if you're looking for a warm drink in this chilly weather, why not grab one knowing you're also supporting the amazing ambulance crews and volunteers who are there when our community needs them most.

Every cup can make a difference. ❤️

Let's support those who spend every day looking after us. 💛

📸 Are you a budding photographer?

Is Mauao your muse?

Then do I have an opportunity for you… 🤔

Imagine having a front-row seat to some of the most breathtaking moments our community has to offer. The golden sunrises. The unexpected encounters. The stories that unfold while most of the world is still asleep.

💣 Truth Bomb

We are desperately short of Community Patrollers.

This is a genuine call for help.

By volunteering just a few hours each month, you'll be helping keep our community safe while experiencing Mount Maunganui from a perspective few people ever do.

You don't need experience.
You don't need to be an expert.
You simply need a community spirit and a willingness to help.

💙 If you've ever thought, "I'd love to give something back," this is your sign.

Send us a message and come see Mount Maunganui through a different lenses....

This morning, as the sun rises over the Bay, the Fieldays gets underway.

While many think of Mount Maunganui for its beaches and lifestyle, we're also home to one of New Zealand's busiest ports.

The products grown on our farms don't simply stay there—they travel through our transport networks, businesses and the port to reach the world.

From the paddock... ➡️ To the packhouse... ➡️ To the trucks... ➡️ To the port... ➡️ To international markets.

It's a reminder that agriculture, logistics and local business are all connected, creating jobs and supporting families throughout our community.

🚜 Are you visiting Fieldays this year?

Tell us what you're most looking forward to or share a photo from your day!

Supporting local communities starts with recognising the people who keep New Zealand moving. 💙

❄️ Hello Winter, Mount Maunganui! ❄️

June 1 marks the first day of winter.

While the beach might be a little quieter, there's still something special about winter around the Mount.

🌊 Crisp morning walks around Mauao ☕ Hot coffees with ocean views 🌅 Stunning winter sunrises 💙 A community that looks out for one another

As the days get shorter, please remember:

✔️ Turn your headlights on earlier
✔️ Lock vehicles and homes
✔️ Keep valuables out of sight ✔️ Check on neighbours, friends and family

Winter has arrived.

Stay warm. Stay safe. Look after each other.

A lovely moment on Mount Mainstreet ❤️

We had the pleasure of meeting these two wonderful ladies from Tommy Bahama while out introducing ourself and sharing more about what our Community Patrol team does around the Mount.

They were incredibly grateful to hear that volunteers are out there helping keep our community, local people, and businesses safe.

It’s these conversations and connections that remind us how important community really is. 💙

Ngā mihi for the warm welcome ladies — we appreciate your support. 🚓

💗 PINK SHIRT DAY 💗

If you see a wall of pink around today… there’s a very important reason why.

Today is about standing together against bullying and creating communities where everyone feels safe, respected, and included.

At Mount Maunganui Community Patrol, we see firsthand how powerful kindness, connection, and looking out for one another can be. A simple smile, conversation, or act of support can make a bigger difference than people realise.

So today we proudly wear pink in support of: • Kindness
• Inclusion
• Respect
• Speaking up
• Stronger communities together

Because everyone deserves to feel safe — both online and in real life. 💗

Happy Mother’s Day 💙
from Mount Maunganui Community Patrol

Today we celebrate the incredible women in our Patrol team and community.

The wāhine who give their time, care for others, stand strong in difficult moments, and help make our community safer and kinder every day.

Thank you for the aroha, strength, patience, and dedication you bring — often quietly, and without recognition.

Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa
With heartfelt thanks to all the amazing women in our community.

Wishing you a day filled with love, peace, laughter, and the people who matter most.
