Got opinions about dog access, leash rules, and where we can exercise our dogs? Now's the time to speak up.
Tauranga City Council is reviewing its dog management policies, and we'd encourage all our members to complete the survey. The more dog owners who contribute, the better.

Get your say in folks! 🐾

One dog for every 10 people, Tauranga is a city of animal lovers 🐾

But with more people, more dogs, and busier shared spaces, it’s time to check our rules are still working for everyone.

We’re asking for your views on:

✔️ dog access in public places
✔️ protecting wildlife
✔️ leash rules in busy areas
✔️ managing animals at home

There are a range of ideas on the table and we know not everyone will agree. That’s why we want to hear from you.

🤩A huge thank you to ⭐️Natalie Joll ⭐️ for coming to the Mount club to host a seminar this weekend. We all learned so much, many light bulb moments, challenges, lots of fun & laughs. It was fantastic to host people from other clubs too, thanks for coming & making for a great weekend. Thanks Mounties for being so welcoming & being such great hosts - shout out to Ron who shares his awesome cuppa set up so we’re kept in caffeine all weekend.

🎥We had a few of our newer handlers ask what a seminar was, so I snapped a few short clips across the weekend to give an insight to what it’s all about - being coached through agility skills and learning new ones. Watching other dogs & handlers & seeing the feedback they’re given too. Picking up homework & new tips for training & most importantly having fun with your dog! 🐾

after our championship morning tea last weekend and seeing moments like this, i’ve been reminded how lucky we are to have members who genuinely show up for each other 💛
