Say hello to Tater, a handsome 7-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier X living in Mornington. Tater is a true social butterfly who has never met a stranger. He has successfully befriended children, cats, small dogs, large dogs, and an entire farmyard roster including chickens, cows, sheep, pigs, and even rabbits! 🐷🐮🐱

Tater’s Backstory: Tater started life as a hard-working rural dog. At age 5, a knee injury forced him into early retirement and a move to town. While his working days are behind him, his stamina is not! He still has the energy to spend all day out and about, just at a more leisurely, steady walking pace.

🚶‍♂️Why Tater needs YOU: Tater’s human has to do that annoying thing called "going to work" to earn money, which really cramps Tater’s style. He would much rather be out exploring or hanging out with a human pal!What he’s looking for:Flexible arrangements: Anything from weekend playdates to longer-term community fostering.

Fully funded: His owner will cover all of his expenses!

💰Ideal activities: A nice long walk (he loves town streets just as much as native bush), followed by a good feed and a comfy indoor spot to snooze.The admin: Fully vaccinated, microchipped, registered, and neutered.

⚠️ A couple of special quirks:Tater takes daily meds for arthritis and occasional skin allergies. He also has an old facial injury that causes him to dribble out of one side of his mouth. Meet Me - such a Sweet Boy!

I am a gentle, quiet 10-year-old entire male Border Collie living in Newlands, Wellington. My main human left for university, so I get a bit lonely hanging out with just my mum. I have a beautiful nature and love simply being in the same room as people, especially when sofa cuddles are involved!

My Preferences
Other Dogs: I love meeting other dogs, but big dogs make me a bit scared. I prefer sniffing over fetch (which I think is a dumb game) and don't have a single clue how to herd anything!
Children: I am very gentle and okay when kids on the street ask to pat me, though I haven't lived with young children.
Health: I am healthy and friendly with a touch of minor arthritis starting. As an entire boy, I am well-behaved around the ladies and usually don't show any active interest.
