Congratulations to the Darfield High School Target Shooting teams, who proudly represented Malvern at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Shooting Championships! 👏
Both teams shot exceptionally well against some of the best school teams from around New Zealand.
🎯 Team 1 – 9th in New Zealand
• Jack Cleaver
• Ella Greenwood
• Max Cleaver
🎯 Team 2 – 24th in New Zealand
• Amelia Lindsay
• Cody Armstrong
• Saphia Ridgen
With 33 teams of three competing nationally, finishing 9th and 24th is a fantastic achievement! 🙌
These impressive results also come off the back of a very strong SSS Postal Shoot, where the team finished an outstanding 3rd in New Zealand. The battle for 3rd was hard fought, with some fantastic individual performances along the way! 👏👏👏
🎯 Individual Results – SSS Postal Shoot
• Jack Cleaver – 3rd C Grade, 19th overall
• Ella Greenwood – 6th C Grade, 24th overall
• Max Cleaver – 10th C Grade, 31st overall
• Amelia Lindsay – 7th D Grade, 34th overall
• Jayden Hitchcock – 24th C Grade, 69th overall
Some epic individual results in there, and a fantastic reflection of the hard work, focus and dedication these young shooters are putting in. 💪🎯
