Hororata Target Shooting Club Established in 1936, Hororata Miniature Rifle club is a 25 yard indoor target shooting club. We shoot prone & benchrest. New members welcome

In 2021 the name changed to Hororata Target Shooting Club Incorporated.

Thanks to everyone for their time this weekend at the Hororata Highland Games. We had 112 guests (along with their supporters and fans) through the range to have a go at target shooting. For many of them it was the first time in a range. We also welcomed a handful of annual attendees who make a point to visit us for a bit of friendly competition amongst their family. We value your continued support.

It was hot in the range and everyone did well to keep up the enthusiasm over the 8 hours.

A big thanks to Anne, Sharron, Samm, Cheryl, Dylan and Ariel for your work on the stall and front desk and it was great to have our three life members, Ross, Max and John present for the meal at the end of the day.

Furthermore, an excellent job by those at the pack down this morning who motored through the work were rewarded with a Famous Hororata Pie and a nip of Hororata Whisky 🥧 🥃

The President would like to extend an invitation to all members and friends of the club to join the games volunteers for a pot luck dinner at the conclusion of the Highland Games after 5pm on Saturday.
BYO meat/drinks and something to share.
