🚗 Uber Pop‑Up Tomorrow in Hāwera

Debbie will be outside Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga tomorrow (Thursday 4 June) from 11am–2pm for another Uber pop‑up.

She’s here to chat with locals about driving with Uber, answer questions, and help people check if they meet the criteria. There’s still a $1,000 incentive for new drivers who complete 20 trips in 90 days.

Even if you’re just curious, pop down for a kōrero and help spread the word that Uber is now a transport option in Hāwera.

Ross and Jan Dunlop celebrated an opening of their gorgeous building on Friday evening.

They acknowledged the incredible work of the architects and builders involved. It’s been thoughtfully restored cleverly holding onto its heritage while embracing modern touches.

Hāwera now has a beautifully revived heritage building, thanks to the vision and dedication of Ross and Jan, who also hosted a great opening event.

Looking ahead, it’s exciting to see what’s next, with Andrew and Jo Blanche bringing their Good Score General store into the space, expanding into a larger, deli-style retail offering on the ground floor.
