We run miniature steam, petrol & electric engines every Sunday of the month, weather permitting, along with other family friendly events. We run trains every Sunday from 10:30am - 12:00pm (closing for lunch for half an hour) and 12:30pm to 3:00pm. This is weather permitting, and updates will be posted when possible to our page on our running status. Tickets begin at only $2 per person, wi

th under 2's riding for free (accompanied by a fair paying passenger). Concession tickets are available, with 10 rides for $15 and a 60 trip part pack for $75. Cash & EFTPOS available, but no credit cards or paywave sorry. We have a new footwear policy as of 2019, which prohibits any passengers from riding our trains with bare feet. Jandals or 'Open Toe Footwear' are permitted, but this is at the riders risk. We run an wide variety of other special events year round, so stay tuned for information on when these are taking place.

On Saturday the 15th of March

The Hamilton Engineers we're proud to host a Run day For Heart Kids Waikato it was a joy to see the happy face's of the kids and their Family enjoying a ride around our track as they were been pulled around by our club locomotives as well as two of our members steam engines.

The guy's and gal's from Rapid relief team put on a bbq for the kids and Family's to enjoy Which was well Received by all including us. We hope to do more charity events in the near future.
