RIDE & RAIL Registrations are open
Thanks to our friends at Auckland Council , CMSport and Bike Pukekohe bring you Ride & Rail.
Starting from Pukekohe Train station and Papakura Train station (or join us from any other station), join our facilitators for a day of riding.

Auckland Council recently awarded funding through its Te Ara Urutau - Climate and Emergency Ready Fund, helping community projects that prepare for emergencies, reduce emissions and build resilience.

Some projects close to home received support, including:
🚲 Conifer Grove School - creating a Community Wheels Hub to encourage more children to walk, cycle and scoot to school.
🚴 Counties Manukau Sport - helping older South Aucklanders build confidence using bikes and e-bikes alongside the electrified rail network through their Ride and Rail Auckland programme.

Neighbouring areas also received support:
🚨 Hunua Community Response Group - to strengthen rural emergency preparedness with volunteer training and a fully equipped emergency response trailer.

🤝 Manurewa Neighbourhood Support - supporting street-by-street emergency readiness so neighbours know how to help one another during emergencies.
Congratulations to everyone involved. Every project like these helps create stronger, healthier and more resilient communities across South Auckland💚
