Every year, Young, Free & Pacific aligns with the Youth Week NZ theme to shape the kōrero for our rangatahi 🌱

For Youth Week 2026, the theme is:
“Our voices matter! We deserve to be heard | Taringa whakarongo! Ki te reo o ngā taiohi.” 🎤

This year, we’re creating space for our young people to reflect, share, and speak into this in their own words. It’s a key part of our day and our message.

📍 Auckland
Young Men: 20 May

Thank you Auckland Council, MSD, and our community

It’s been a year of hard mahi navigating recovery work following the Auckland floods. Together, we supported over 1,100 referrals, with the majority coming from Māngere, where the impact hit hardest.

Thank you, Auckland Council, MSD, and our community, for working following the Auckland floods. Together, we supported over 1,100 referrals, with the majority coming from Māngere, where the impact was felt the most.

Yes, there’s still work to do, but we honour everyone who helped. It wasn’t easy, but with partnership, care, and commitment, we got through it together.

🌧️ Preparedness starts at home, in our communities, and across all sectors. Let’s keep building strong, united responses.
