Join Senior Constable Craig Hammonds and Heather Plummer from Howick Botany Neighbourhood Support for a practical Community Session packed with local advice to help you stay safe, confident, and informed.

You’ll learn:
• How neighbours can help keep each other safe
• Simple ways to improve your personal and home security
• When to contact Police using 111 or 105
• How Neighbourhood Support works in your area
• Current community safety issues and practical tips from Police

There’ll also be plenty of time to ask questions, followed by morning tea and a chance to chat.

A fascinating session with Vivian Wang and Lynn Chen from Duplex Allied Health, exploring natural approaches to pain management through modern pain science and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
From gentle movement and acupressure to practical strategies we can use at home, there was plenty to take away.
Thank you Vivian and Lynn for sharing your knowledge and giving us new ways to think about managing pain and supporting healthy ageing. Great to meet some new members too! A fabulous turnout.

A huge thank you to Gaye from MDNZ for a really informative session on Eye Health and Macular Degeneration. Early detection and treatment is key, so talk to your optometrist if you notice any changes in your vision. Gaye recommends you ask at every eye test “have you checked my macular?”.
