She didn’t just lose concert plans, she lost someone she called family. A San Diego woman, 31 and expecting, had invited her 29-year-old sister-in-law to Eras in Vancouver months in advance. Then life changed fast: concert on Dec 6, due date on Dec 7. She stepped back for her baby and offered options. SIL first said she would 🦍 not go without her. Weeks later, SIL suddenly planned to 🌞 attend anyway and ☺️ even named who she would bring, despite never offering face value for the seats. 🛎 So the mom-to-be sold both tickets for $4,000 to help during maternity leave. I (35M) co-parent my daughter Shannon (13F) with my ex-wife Natalie (34F). Every year since Shannon was 4, we've done a post-Christmas Disney trip, even after 🍾️ our divorce. 🔔 It's a strained truce, given my dislike for Natalie’s spending habits, which fueled our split.
