Program makers wanted for cultural festival Roomservice 2024! 🎭🎤
Studium Generale is looking for 1 or 2 WUR students to compose the program of RoomService 2024 (paid job). The festival takes place in November. From April/ May until September you need time to to spot the right artists for us to create a varied cultural program in Wageningen. Use your contacts, visit different festivals in the Netherlands, search the internet and ask around. Are you available in this period and enthusiastic to help us? Send an email with a short motivation to [email protected] at the latest March 11. You can apply for this job individually or as a duo.

Evanne Nowak, (academically trained in existential counselling at University of Humanistic Studies - Utrecht), will be there again and will walk us through a structured conversation where a safe space is created in the tradition of contemplative dialogue. This is an opportunity to share and be heard about how these events have impacted you. Soup for Thought will be offered at the outset.

Tonight Studium Generale screens an historical documentary in Impulse, “Palestine, Story of a Land” (Simone Bitton, France 1993, 104 min.) which contributes to the backdrop of what we know about this contested region. It is a preamble to the conversation we invite you to partake in. This is an opportunity to share how recent events in Israel and the Palestinian Occupied Territories and the ongoing situation in Gaza has touched you and hear what it means for others. Diverse session time slots offered.

Studium Generale's yearly event will take place on Wednesday 31st of May! Save the date ⏰ The theme is: The Bodies you Become. We will invite artists to the stage and together we embark on a quest: what does the fundamental presence of our fluid bodies in our lives mean for the sciences we do and the knowledges we gather?
