Residency Talks | May 16th | 16:00-18:00 🔔
Ripple Effects; with Roos Vogels, Nishiko and Lejla Vala Verheus
On Saturday 16 May we invite you to attend the in-progress residency talk with our current residents, where the artists take you through the development and production of their work, diving into a deeper dialogue about their practices, struggles, challenges and insecurities.
1. A warm invitation to our community and beyond to become a part of the discussion.
2. works through an exploration of the relationship with nature, the constant movement of it while juxtaposing the romanticised notion of it with a distinctive and more realistic disposition, showing great respect for the material and its process.
3. works through textile based materials found during the residency and the processes that occur to form a coherent visual language while experimenting with embodied practices of making together and the historical significance of it.
4. .nl works with the concept of the mundane while exploring it through a series of captured photographs brought together via multiple techniques to present a collection of everyday scenes.
Come join these artists in conversation , with a hope that the exchange also influences the further creative processes of their artistic explorations 🙌
