PROGRAMME OUTLINE:
1. WEALTH SHOP:
A seminar/ talk show designed to motivate and equip participants with relevant economic and social information that can empower them to be self reliant. It would emphasis on starting and sustaining business ideas, talents development and identifying potentials. Its full package will include auditions for talents among the young ones with rewards as bigger nationwide auditions like GLO NIJA SINGS, PROJECT FAME, and AY OPEN MIC SHOW amongst others.
2. INTERSCHOOL DEBATES:
Debates will be organized between schools using an agreeable fixture to group schools. This debate programme is designed to help the young ones cut teeth and develop flair in disciplines requiring public speech making and articulation. Winning school and team members will be presented with awards that will motivate them along the line of discipline.
3. CHORAL COMPETITIONS:
Choral competitions will be conducted and schools will be encouraged to participate. We have discovered that competitions like these build team spirits while sharpening individual singing skills and afford productive leisure for mental recuperation for the students but in the end bring glory to the schools. Again trophies and awards will be giving as rewards and motivation.
4. ESSAY WRITING AND SCIENCE QUIZ COMPETITION:
Again essay writing and science quiz competition will be conducted among the schools. This programme is designed to equip and prepare the relevant students for internal and external examinations and even bigger related competitions. It is proven that programmes like this had served as spring board for students who later did very well in related vocation in the higher schools. Again this will not end without a trophy.
5. GREEN/PEACE CLUB:
This will be purely voluntary. It will however follow an enlightenment/ awareness on the relevance of this club and its impact on the society. A club like this will have volunteers who will willingly preach the tenets of peaceful co existence and also share education on the essence of a green environment devoid of dirt, flower planting and the danger of deforestation like global warming.
6. CAREER TALK/ COUNSELLING:
This is a very important activity for senior school leavers. However it will not be all comers affair. It will exclusively be a reward for members of the GREENPEACE CLUB. Given the experience of the GNA team, the exposition to be provided is very promising. This is deliberately intended to encourage volunteers for the GREENPEACE CLUB.
OTHER PROGRAMMES:
The scope of this organization goes beyond schools. Part of her programme targets talents building, youth mentoring and interactive counseling. Apart from the programmes outlined above, GNA with the support of her strategic partners will host a bi monthly or monthly all inclusive programme. There will be talk shows, music performance, open mic competition for upcoming MCs, career and motivational short speeches by patrons; there will be worship and Bible exhortations. It will be like never before.
