Our vision - To raise innovative leaders that are committed to lifelong learning and improving their communities. Our Mission: KIR Foundation exists
to transform the lives of orphans and vulnerable children, youths, persons living with disabilities, prisoners and women in our communities. We pursue this mission by inspiring change through learning and providing innovative and sustainable ;
• Learning opportunities that enrich the knowledge and skills necessary to improve their lives and communities
• Programs on leadership, entrepreneurship and other life skills that will enable them to become self reliant and leaders in their communities
• Platforms for advocacy, volunteerism and personal social responsibility
We accomplish our mission through the following programs;
Education- We bridge the educational gaps in the knowledge age by donating books, establishing book clubs, reading corners, mini libraries and organizing afterschool classes on values education, leadership, entrepreneurship and career guidance and counselling. Capacity Building - We build the capability of our beneficiaries through leadership and entrepreneurship modules that empower them to take responsibility for themselves, become socially responsible by changing their mindsets towards global citizenship and service. Advocacy- We promote the rights of all our beneficiaries through advocacy campaigns and engage with stakeholders to incorporate inclusiveness in all developmental issues. We also provide opportunities that empower our beneficiaries to become their own voice.
