In 2025, our team at Anchor to Help Foundation organized an outreach for Indigent Women in the Ochanja community, focusing on what mattered most. We organized educational sessions about the dangers of carrying babies under the harsh sun while hawking, hosted free medical outreaches and health talks, and provided mothers and their children with a variety of essentials to meet their daily needs. Most importantly, we created a safe space, owned and managed by the foundation, where children could stay while their mothers worked, reducing risks and daily stress.

The impact was profound. Mothers expressed relief, gratitude, and renewed confidence, knowing their children were safer and their own health was cared for.

As we move into 2026, we aim to reach more communities, strengthen systems of care for vulnerable mothers, and deepen partnerships to ensure lasting impact.
