Every day, poor health silently pulls children out of classrooms, not because they don’t want to learn, but because their bodies are tired of fighting.

It’s not just about school fees.

It’s about repeated sickness.

It’s about no access to healthcare.

It’s about children becoming caregivers when they should be students.

At One More Hand Foundation, we don’t just support education; we start with health.

We always say “education is the key”… but what if the child is too sick to even hold the key?

This is something I wish more people understood.

Before school fees, before uniforms, even before homework, health must come first.

At One More Hand Foundation, we don’t just send children back to school… we help them get well first.

Because a child battling fever or hunger isn’t failing, they’re fighting.

Let’s stop treating education and health like two separate struggles.

They go hand in hand. One cannot work without the other.

It’s time we changed the order of help.
