From paying hospital bills, to helping women start businesses, to clothing those on the street — this is more than charity. This is a mission to draw souls to Christ. Acts 10:38

WHY WE GO TO THE STREETS
Evangelism in the street is not optional. It’s obedience.
Here’s why we keep going to places like Obiri Nwaotam Elelenwo:

1. We meet people where they are – Not everyone will come to church. But Jesus went to where the people were. Mark 2:17
2. We bring hope to dark places – Judges 21:25 says 'when there’s no king, everyone does what’s right in their own eyes.' The street needs to hear there IS a King.
3. We break strongholds – The gospel in the street displaces fear, addiction, and hopelessness with truth.
4. We obey the Great Commission – 'Go into all the world' Mark 16:15. The world includes the street.
5. We see real transformation – One conversation on the street can change an entire family.

This is Evangelism. No stage. No program. Just people meeting Jesus in the streets. From the young to the old — the mess...

In partnership with Reeds Tutoring and Jesus In The Street, we spent June 5th – July 24th equipping students at Community Secondary School, Elelewon with literacy, confidence, and purpose.

18th June 2026 - We were in schools.

"The loudest crowd isn’t always in stadiums.
Sometimes it’s 10 students during break time, leaning in to hear about Jesus."

We’re still believing: One conversation can change a destiny.
One scripture can anchor a student through WAEC, peer pressure, depression, and every storm ahead.

We don’t go to force religion. We go to offer relationship.
We don’t go to condemn. We go to carry hope.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations..." Matthew 28:19
And that includes classrooms.

Jesus is still moving in schools.

We’re learning something simple but life-changing:
God is not far from us.

He’s not locked in a building.
He’s not waiting for “one day.”
He’s right here. In the streets. In our homes.
In the quiet moments when no one is watching.
And in the busy moments when life feels too loud.

This is why we gather.
This is why we sit, we listen, we pray, we laugh together.
Because drawing near to Him is our greatest joy.
And in His presence, we find what the world can’t give us:
Peace when we’re anxious. Strength when we’re weak. And the fullness of life.

JAMES 4:8 — Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.
