Happy New Month! đź’™

May August bring renewed strength, healing, hope, and new opportunities.

Together, we’ll continue to raise awareness, amplify the voices of those living with Pulmonary Hypertension, and support one another every step of the way.

Here’s to another month of standing together, spreading hope, and making a difference for the PH community in Nigeria. 💙
Happy August!

Treatment exists. Access doesn’t.

That’s the painful experience of living with pulmonary hypertension in Nigeria.

For many PH patients, the cost of staying alive is just as overwhelming as the diagnosis itself. The medications needed to stay alive and breathe easier are often priced beyond what an average family in Nigeria can afford. And when someone manages to raise the money, there is no guarantee that the drugs will be easily available.

So people ration their medications, skip doses, or stop treatment altogether. Not because they want to, but because they seem to have no choice.

We are bridging the gap between treatment and access, and we’d like to do that with you.

Help someone breathe a little easier today. Donate and partner with us to make this vision a reality.

Woman Crush Wednesday đź’śđź’śđź’ś
🎉 We are proud to share that our Founder and Executive Director, Ayotunde Omitogun, was recently honored with the prestigious Rino Aldrighetti Leadership Award at the PHA 2026 International PH Conference in Dallas.

We are deeply grateful to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association for this recognition.

For years, we have watched Ayotunde dedicate herself to this work—raising awareness, supporting patients, and advocating for better outcomes for people living with pulmonary hypertension in Nigeria.

To see that commitment recognized on a global stage is both humbling and inspiring.

Congratulations, Ayotunde, and to all of us at Cardiac Community Advocacy and Support Initiative. This award celebrates how far we have come, the lives we have impacted, and the hope we continue to build for the pulmonary hypertension community in Nigeria. đź’™

This recognition belongs not only to Ayotunde, but also to every patient, caregiver, volunteer, partner, and supporter who has been part of this journey.

What people don’t see is the reality we live with every day.

During the Walk4PH Walkathon, some members of our community shared their experiences living with Pulmonary Hypertension in Nigeria; the challenges, the uncertainties, and the strength it takes to keep going.

These are not just stories. They are real lives, real struggles, and real people who deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.

Take a moment to listen to their voices and help us spread awareness about Pulmonary Hypertension.

One month ago, we took steps together for a cause that matters.

Walk4PH 2026 was more than a walk. It was a movement of hope, awareness, advocacy, and solidarity for everyone affected by Pulmonary Hypertension.

From every conversation shared along the route to every step taken in support of the PH community, this day reminded us that change happens when people come together with purpose.

Thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered, partnered with us, and helped amplify the message. Your support continues to push the conversation forward.

Here’s a look back at some of the moments that made Walk4PH 2026 unforgettable. 💙
