Qurbani is a symbol of obedience, sacrifice, and compassion. It reminds us of the sincere submission of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to Allah’s command. Through Qurbani, we earn Allah’s pleasure, support the needy, and strengthen the spirit of unity and generosity in our communities.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is nothing dearer to Allah during the days of sacrifice than the shedding of blood (of sacrificial animals).”
May Allah accept our sacrifices, purify our hearts, and bless us with sincere devotion.

The Virtues of Hajj and ‘Umrah
Hajj and ‘Umrah are among the greatest acts of worship in Islam. They purify the soul, strengthen faith, and bring immense rewards from Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said that an accepted Hajj has no reward except Jannah, and performing ‘Umrah removes sins between one ‘Umrah and another.
Hajj becomes obligatory upon every Muslim who is physically, financially, and safely able to perform it at least once in a lifetime. A person must also possess sound mind and maturity for the obligation to apply.
As we prepare for Jumu’ah, let us renew our intentions, pray for the opportunity to visit the Sacred House of Allah, and support those striving to fulfill this noble pillar of Islam.

Let us strive today to ease someone’s burden, forgive, give sincerely, and spread kindness wherever we go. When you make others happy for the sake of Allah, He places happiness and barakah in your own life.
May Allah make us a source of joy, mercy, and goodness to others. Ameen.

As exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), leadership is about understanding people, uplifting others, and standing for truth with compassion.
May Allah grant us the wisdom to lead with justice, humility, and flexibility. Ameen.
