We are thrilled to invite you to the official launch of the Africa Wikipedia Challenge (AWC) 2026. This year theme "Water for Life" spotlighting one of Africa's most vital resources. We are calling on editors, writers, students, and knowledge enthusiasts across Nigeria and beyond to contribute, create, and champion Wikipedia articles in their mother tongue.

The Africa Wiki Challenge (AWC) is a global movement empowering we Africans to write our own history and share authentic local knowledge on the world’s largest free encyclopedia. Lets amplify Africa voices together.
