AIESEC is the international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential in order to have a positive impact in society. It is present in over 1700 universities and schools of higher learning across 110 countries. (More on www.aiesec.org) Since 1948, as the largest university based network of young people, we provide our members with over 8,300 leadership opportunities, 7,500 exchange opportunities, 450 conferences and virtual tools to build networks. AIESEC, the world's largest student-run organization is the international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential to have a positive impact on society. In partnership with business and higher education, AIESEC has 61 years of experience in developing high-potential students into globally-minded responsible leaders. Present in over 800 universities in 111 countries and territories, AIESEC provides young people with the opportunity to work abroad, develop leadership, build a personal network, and explore the direction and ambition of their future. AIESEC's innovative development process consists of unmatched leadership experiences and global internships. Our innovative approach to developing young people focuses on taking a proactive role, developing self-awareness and a personal vision, building networks, and developing capacity to drive change. AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, nationality, ethnic and or social origin. AIESEC in Ife organizes projects and events yearly. Such events are geared towards addressing social issues in Osun State and by extension, our dear country Nigeria. These projects also serve as avenues for members to develop themselves and make positive impact on their immediate society, the nation and the world at large.

This project is in three phases with the first phase focusing on foreign and local language education for both undergraduates and illiterate indigenes of Ile-Ife Osun State, a bi-monthly publication that focuses on African culture, world culture and also youths around the world making a difference; The second phase focuses on tourism, exposing the youth to our diverse culture, history and beauty through visits to historical sites in Nigeria and also cultural events and workshops focused on cultural education in orphanages in Osun State; the third phase is a cultural event to round-off the project, this cultural day would involve a literature and art festival to showcase all aspects of culture.
