SkillUp Edda SkillUp Edda is transforming the lives of Edda youths by providing them with valuable skills, mentorship, and opportunities for self-reliance.

SkillUp Edda is a group that was built by young and well-meaning Edda youths that has the best interest of Edda at heart to help in developing the indigenes of Edda Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Nigeria through skill acquisition/empowerment programs. We are focused on making sure that indigenes of Edda Local government are empowered with life-changing skills, as this will help us achieve

the following:

1. Reduce the rate of unemployment in the whole of Edda.
2. Help with fast-tracking the rate of development in Edda.
3. Reduce the rate of crimes and social vices in Edda communities.
4. Help our youths and teenagers build capacity and gain skills to make them compete globally. Our training is centered around the UN SDGs of 1, 9, and 11 and is facilitated by young Edda indigenes across the country with expertise across Digital skills, Phone repairs, Event planning, and decoration, Catering, and other valuable skills. We are powered by My Edda, in collaboration with Edda Loaded, Face of Edda, Concerned Edda Youth Movement. We are a team of young, vibrant, and creative Edda indigenes that are focused on creating change and development in the Edda Local government.

Congratulations to the Nguzu People, once again.

After so many considerations, the team agreed to zone the 2026 edition to Nguzu Edda again, for the second time.

Initially, it was zoned to Amangwu Edda, but after so many considerations, we realized that Amangwu does not have the necessary requirements to host us at the moment, and one of the major factors is, no computer Training Centre, which is the most important aspect of our programs.

We will try again next year.

Therefore, the 2026 edition would be hosted at SEED ICT HUB
