Today I join the Oluseye family based in Akure Ondo State Nigeria to wish our pretty Adesua Anne a happy 5th year birthday.
We pray Gods guidance, protection and blessings over her life. We are excited about the future for her. She is stepping into it with clarity, self confidence and love.

We are also grateful to her intentional parent. Who has never taken her health and well being for a joke. Swipe to see a 2023 message from Adesua's mum about a spot seen on her skin.
3 years later, see how beautifully Adesua is growing.
This is the impact we are talking about.
A safe future for every child with Albinism.

Happy birthday my baby.

Love

Dear new parent of a child with albinism,
Breathe.

I know your mind is racing.
I know you have a thousand questions sitting heavily in your heart.
You are wondering if your child would be accepted, loved, protected and understood by the world.

You are scared of the unknown.
Scared of making mistakes.
Scared because nobody prepared you for this journey.

But breathe dear parent.
Please breathe.

Your child is still the same child you carried with love.
The same child you prayed for.
The same child deserving of joy, protection, opportunities and a beautiful life.

Albinism is not the end of your child’s story.
It is not a punishment.
It is not shameful.
And it is definitely not a limitation to greatness.

One step at a time, you would learn.
One day at a time, you would grow stronger.
And one moment at a time, your child would show you just how beautiful and powerful they truly are.

You do not have to walk this journey alone.

There are parents who understand.
There are communities willing to guide you.
There are living testimonies of confident, thriving children and adults with albinism.

So today, before fear speaks louder than hope,
Breathe.

Your child deserves parents who see possibility before panic.
And trust me,
there is still so much beauty ahead. 🤍

Appreciation Post

There are moments in this journey that quietly remind you that you are not alone.
Today is one of those moments.
I am deeply grateful to share that White Angels Foundation received a total of ₦3,000,000 in generous donations

₦2,000,000 to support our programs, and ₦1,000,000 given to me personally in recognition of the work we do.
And while the numbers are significant, what this truly represents is something far greater.
Belief.
Trust.
Validation of impact.
At White Angels Foundation, we are committed to improving the lives of children with albinism through:
• Free sunscreen distribution
• Access to essential skin and eye care
• Educational support and scholarships
• Caregiver support systems and community building
• Ongoing awareness and advocacy

This support strengthens our ability to reach more families, deepen our impact, and continue changing the narrative around albinism.
To the incredible donor Mr Daniel Edokpolo behind this gesture thank you for believing in this vision.
Thank you for standing with us. Your generosity will directly touch lives and create lasting change.
And to everyone who continues to support, share, and amplify this work this milestone belongs to you too.
We are building something meaningful.
And we are only just getting started.

Some moments remind you why you started and why you must never stop.

Five years ago, we captured a young child with albinism full of potential, but with so many barriers ahead.
Few days ago, we returned and what we saw was growth, resilience, brilliance.

A story rewritten with courage and support
and then, this happened.

A generous heart saw that journey and chose to be part of the “after.”

With a donation of ₦500,000, you didn’t just give money you gave reassurance, continuity, and a louder voice to a child who is rising.

To our donor, thank you.
Thank you for seeing beyond the video and investing in the future it represents.

Thank you for believing that one child’s story is worth changing
because it is.

To this beautiful family, this is only the beginning
and to everyone watching, this is what impact looks like real, visible, and lasting.

With a grateful heart,

It is a new month and I would like us to to have a flash back to 5 years before meeting 5 years after .

No child should be tagged 'dull" they just need a different approach of learning.
Promise is doing amazingly well and we are definitely certain he would do better.
It is a Flashback Friday.

Happy new month of May 🤍

After several years of trying to change misconceptions about albinism, a particular myths have proven stubborn from generation to generation and that is the claims tbat "salt causes spots on the skin of persons with albinism"

Going forward. We may need to start correcting by actions.
😁
It is the SUN not the SALT 🤍

I don’t think you understand what just happened 🤍

After our first Let’s Gist session, the messages kept coming in.

Not noise.
Not hype.
Real impact.

A parent said,
“I searched everywhere for support for my baby…”

Another said
“I really learnt something new today.”

And this one stayed with me,
“The meeting was superb, full of encouragement… I am happy I joined.”

But beyond the words,
I saw something deeper.

Parents who finally feel heard.
Parents who now have direction.
Parents who are no longer walking this journey alone.

This is why we started.

Not for numbers.
Not for applause.
But for moments like this.

Where a parent who almost missed it because of network issues says..
“I thank God I didn’t miss this.”

We are building more than a session.
We are building a safe space.
A support system.
A movement.

And if this was just the first one,
Then we are only getting started.

To every parent in our community thank you for trusting us 🤍
To those yet to join us… there is space for you.

Tonight was not just a meeting, it was a moment 🤍

Our very first session of Let’s Gist “Empowered Parents, Thriving Children” held on Telegram and my heart is so full.

We didn’t come with perfection.
We came with honesty.
We came with questions, fears experiences and the courage to be real.

And that is where the magic happened.

Parents opened up.
Stories were shared.
Tears were held back and in some cases, let out.

Because for the first time for many, they realised…
“I am not alone on this journey.”

This is why we said we are starting from the home first.

Because before the world defines your child, you already have.
Before the world speaks your voice has spoken louder.

Tonight, I saw strength.
I saw love.
I saw parents who are ready to do better, not because they were not trying but because now, they know better.

And to our amazing parents who engaged, spoke, shared, and stayed present we see you 🤍
Our top engagers will be announced shortly 🎉

This is just the beginning.

We are building something here
A safe space.
A support system.
A movement.

And I am so honoured to walk this journey with you.

We received feedback from our community, and it was suggested that we move the meeting to Telegram for now, as some of our parents are having difficulty navigating Zoom.
We will be organising a training session soon on how to use Zoom, so we can move future sessions there as originally planned.
So yes!
The Telegram link is in our Instagram bio and also in the comment section on Facebook.
Do well to click, join us, and get ready for a life changing moment with us on the 26th of April, 2026 by 8pm.

As we premiere our first online program, “Let’s Gist”, tagged: “Empowered Parents, Thriving Children.”
This is a focused group discussion.
Nothing fancy just reality, in the most heartwarming way.
Dear parents, we appreciate you, and we want you to hear it with your own ears.

We also have something special for the 20 most active participants during this session.
You don’t want to miss this. 🤍
See you there.
