Economic inclusion is beyond creating opportunities. It’s about ensuring the opportunities that already exist are accessible to everyone.

Across Africa, women, young people, entrepreneurs, including smallholder farmers continue to face barriers that limit their ability to grow businesses, access finance, reach new markets, and build sustainable livelihoods.

Yet, across the continent, innovative approaches are already showing how these barriers can be overcome and a more inclusive future realised.

The Economic Inclusion Forum at GS26 brings together the people designing, funding, and implementing those solutions. It is a space to examine what works, challenge what doesn’t, and build the partnerships, policies, and investments needed to move promising ideas beyond pilots and into the lives of the people who need them most.
