Just look at her. So calm. So gentle. So full of love.
Baby B isn't the typical giant breed people expect. Behind that beautiful Cane Corso face is simply a sweet, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. 💞
She loves children and cats🐈‍⬛, adores cuddles, walks beautifully on a lead, and has the most relaxed, easy-going nature. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even gentle around kittens.
Despite being abandoned and left to fend for herself, she still believes every new person she meets could be her family. Every visitor is greeted with hope. Every kind word makes her tail wag.

At only 8 months old, Baby B should be spending her days learning about love, family, and adventures — not waiting for someone to choose her.

💙🇬🇧 GENTLEMAN CHARLEY IS READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🇬🇧💙

And yes… he really is that adorable. 🥹
Charley is a small gentleman, around 9 kg and 5–6 years old, who has been through more than any dog should ever experience.
He would be happiest with an adult/older couple or family where he can receive lots of love, attention and affection. ❤️
We believe he would also benefit from being the only pet in the home, so he can enjoy having his humans all to himself. 🥰

💔 FROM A CHAIN… TO A SECOND CHANCE
Just a few months ago, Charley had nothing.
No name.
No home.
No safety.
When authorities removed him from severe neglect and asked his owners his name, they laughed.
They called him “flea bag.”
That was his identity.
Not a name.
Not a life.
Not a soul.
Just a cruel joke.
But not anymore.
Now he is Charley — and he matters. 💛

A broken wooden box called “home.”

🌈💔 LAST WEEK, WE HAD TOO MUCH ON OUR PLATES… 💔🌈

We honestly did not even have the strength to share this.
Last week, we lost Rocky, after 7 years with us, and Dios, after 2 years with us. 💔🐾
Two beautiful souls who became part of our family and who will never be forgotten.
🐾💔 ROCKY
Rocky was an ex-police dog who was dumped in absolutely desperate condition.
He weighed only 13 kg, covered in wounds and crawling with worms. 😭💔
We fought for him. We treated him. We gave him food, safety, love and a life he had never known before.
Sadly, because of his behavioural issues, Rocky was never able to be rehomed. But that never meant he was unwanted.
He was ours. He was loved. He was safe. ❤️
After 7 years with us, the terrible heatwave hit him hard, and we lost our boy. 🌈
💔 Rocky’s remaining kennel debt: £750
🐾💔 DIOS
Dios was rescued from his cruel owners and had already been through hell.
First, he lost his paw. Then his condition became so severe that his entire leg had to be amputated. 😭💔
Despite everything he had suffered, Dios learned to trust again — but only a very small number of people.
Because of his fears and trust issues, it was not safe for him to be rehomed abroad.
He stayed with us, where he was known, loved and protected.
Sadly, the extreme heatwave hit him incredibly hard too, and we lost him. 🌈💔
💔 Dios’s remaining kennel debt: £350
Together, these two boys have left behind £1,100 in kennel debts.
We know there are so many emergencies. We know everyone is tired.
But we cannot let Rocky and Dios leave us with unpaid debts behind them.

Your terrible disease, together with this unbearable heatwave, was too much for your little body. Your little heart stopped, and we are so, so sorry. 💔
We wish we could have saved you. We wish we had more time. 😭

🚨🆘💔 MEET HENRY — WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP 💔🆘🚨

Gill gave this poor boy a name: HENRY. ❤️
And somehow, giving him a name makes everything feel even more real.
He is no longer just another forgotten dog on the streets.
He is Henry. 🐾❤️

🙏 We have finally managed to get him to safety, and a huge thank you to Gill, who not only covered his £125 vet fee, but also gave him his beautiful new name.
For now, Henry is staying in a temporary improvised kennel because we simply have nowhere else available.
But he has suffered enough. 💔
He smells terribly, his condition is heartbreaking, and he urgently needs to be transported to the capital for a full veterinary examination, grooming and quarantine.

Thank you, dear Niki, for donating all these stainless-steel, non-rusting buckets for our shelter dogs! 🙏🏼🥰

With this terrible heatwave, we are doing everything possible to keep our dogs cool, hydrated and safe. 💦☀️ These buckets will be incredibly useful for keeping fresh water available for our 500+ rescue dogs.
At the same time, we are still waiting for the green light from the authorities to safely start our UK transport. 🚐🇬🇧
❗️WE STILL DO NOT HAVE A CONFIRMED TRANSPORT DATE.
We know our adopters have been waiting patiently for their babies, and we promise that the moment we receive official confirmation, you will be the first to know. ❤️
The extreme temperatures have made travelling unsafe, especially for dogs who are particularly sensitive to heat. Our transport is fully air-conditioned and DEFRA-approved, but the safety of our dogs must always come first. 🐾❤️

🚨💔 ANOTHER DOG DUMPED IN THE HEAT — SHE COLLAPSED OUTSIDE OUR SHELTER 💔🚨

We cannot believe what happened today.
Another innocent girl was dumped near our shelter in this unbearable heat. 🔥☀️
She was so exhausted and overheated that she collapsed and could barely move.
Her paws are badly burned from the scorching ground, and she is struggling even to stand. 💔🐾
Our workers immediately rushed to help her, trying to cool her down and give her the emergency care she desperately needs.
This extreme heat is dangerous for animals, especially abandoned dogs who have nowhere to escape from the burning sun.
She should never have been left like this.
We are already overwhelmed, our shelter is under enormous pressure, but we simply cannot turn away a suffering animal lying at our door.

Our veterinary bill is frozen, our quarantine debt keeps growing, and honestly, we simply cannot afford to take another dog in without your help.
But tonight we found this poor boy.
He is in terrible condition and may be blind. 💔
If we leave him on the streets, we are terrified he will not survive.
We don't want to turn our backs on him.

The extreme heat is back, and temperatures are expected to reach 45°C.
Right now, our entire team is working around the clock to keep our animals safe and comfortable during these dangerous conditions.
🐾 We are caring for more than 400 shelter residents
🐾 Supporting our senior dogs and vulnerable animals
🐾 Checking on dogs in foster homes and boarding kennels
🐾 Providing extra water, shade, cooling areas, and monitoring for signs of heat stress
🐾 Preparing for our upcoming transport trip to the UK
These temperatures are challenging for both people and animals, and our priority must be the welfare and safety of every dog in our care.
If you are waiting for a reply from us, please be patient. We may be slower than usual in responding to messages, emails, applications, and enquiries while we focus on keeping our animals safe during this heatwave.
