☘️ في الربع الاخير من 2025 وبداية 2026، ضمن إطار مشروع "مخيم جرش 2025 لدعم المياه والصرف الصحي والنظافة وسبل العيش" الممول من الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي (KOICA)،

ولتحسين البيئة الصحية لمخيم جرش، قامت منظمة حسن الجوار الدولية- الأردن بالوصول الى 15,042 فردًا تلقوا جلسات توعية وشاركوا في مبادرات تستهدف أفراد المجتمع، بما في ذلك الرجال والنساء والأطفال، بالإضافة إلى معلمي وطلاب المدارس.

وذلك بالتعاون مع مؤسسات المجتمع المحلي والمتطوعين داخل مخيم جرش.

☘️ During the last quarter of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, as part of the "Jerash Camp 2025 Project for WASH and Livelihoods," funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA),

To improve the hygiene environment of Jerash Camp, GNI Jordan intervention reached 15,042 individuals who received awareness-raising sessions and participated in initiatives targeting community members, including men, women, children, as well as school teachers and students.

This was carried out in collaboration with local community institutions and volunteers within Jerash Camp.

The Socio-Green-Economy Empowerment of Refugees and Vulnerable Jordanians through Employability Capacity Building and Green Business Development Project, funded by KOICA and implemented by Good Neighbors International Jordan in partnership with GGGI, aimed to mitigate climate change impacts and enhance the self-reliance of refugees and vulnerable Jordanians through sustainable green livelihoods and economic empowerment. The project adopted an integrated approach that combined employability support, entrepreneurship development, and environmentally sustainable practices.

The project targeted vulnerable Syrian refugees and Jordanian host communities across four governorates in Jordan. The project focused on five main components: Green Vocational Training, Green Entrepreneurship Training, Business Incubation, In-Kind Grants, and Employment Support. Through these interventions, participants gained practical and market-relevant skills in climate-smart agriculture, water efficiency, and energy efficiency sectors, while also receiving mentorship and technical support to establish and grow sustainable green businesses.

GNI Jordan trained 785 participants (50% refugees and 67% women) under integrated skills development programs, including vocational and soft skills training in the Climate-Smart Agriculture, Energy Efficiency, and Water Efficiency sectors. GNI Jordan also built the capacity of green entrepreneurs, targeting 762 participants through Green Entrepreneurship Training. Additionally, 59 entrepreneurs were supported through incubation and in-kind grants to launch and expand their green enterprises.

☘️ في الربع الاخير من 2025 وبداية 2026، ضمن إطار مشروع "مخيم جرش 2025 لدعم المياه والصرف الصحي والنظافة وسبل العيش" الممول من الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي (KOICA)،
لتحسين البيئة الصحية لمخيم جرش، قامت منظمة حسن الجوار الدولية- الأردن بتوزيع 5,172 طرود النظافة والاسعافات الاولية على مجتمع مخيم جرش، بما في ذلك الأسر والمعلمين وأصحاب المحلات التجارية المحلية.
وذلك بالتعاون مع مؤسسات المجتمع المحلي والمتطوعين داخل مخيم جرش.

We are deeply saddened to share that Mr. Minho Choi, Representative of Good Neighbors Ukraine & Romania and former Secretary General of Good Neighbors Global Partnership Center, passed away peacefully in Romania on April 28, 2026.
In 2011, he was ordained as a pastor. The following year, he began his first mission with Good Neighbors, and what followed was fourteen years of life given fully to others.

عقدت منظمة حسن الجوار الدولية – مكتب الأردن ورشة عمل تقييمية لمشروع
"خلق فرص عمل خضراء مستدامة للاجئين والمجتمعات المضيفة من خلال الاقتصاد الأخضر في الأردن".

خلال الورشة، تم استعراض أبرز النتائج والإنجازات التي حققها المشروع، والتي عكست أثره الإيجابي في دعم فرص العمل وتعزيز ممارسات الاقتصاد الأخضر.

كما شهدت الورشة نقاشات مثمرة حول التحديات التشغيلية والاستراتيجية، إلى جانب تبادل الدروس المستفادة وأفضل الممارسات بين المشاركين، وصولًا إلى صياغة توصيات عملية تسهم في تطوير البرامج المستقبلية وتعزيز استدامتها.

نثمّن جهود جميع الشركاء والمشاركين الذين كان لهم دور أساسي في تحقيق هذه النتائج، ونتطلع إلى المزيد من المبادرات التي تدعم التنمية المستدامة في الأردن.

“Creating Sustainable Green Job Opportunities for Refugees and Host Communities through the Green Economy in Jordan.”

During the workshop, key results and achievements of the project were presented, highlighting its positive impact in supporting employment opportunities and promoting green economy practices.

The session also featured constructive discussions on major operational and strategic challenges, alongside the exchange of lessons learned and best practices among participants. The workshop concluded with practical recommendations aimed at enhancing and sustaining future programs.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all partners and participants whose valuable contributions played a vital role in achieving these outcomes. We look forward to continued collaboration in advancing sustainable development efforts in Jordan.
