From donor-driven to self-sustaining. Our three-year transition starts now.
Strategy 2026 — 2028.

Over the next three years, we are transitioning from a donor-driven model to a hybrid one — pairing grants with earned revenue:

01 · An eco-trekking package linking Amman’s archaeological corridor to community guides

02 · Ten-plus ticketed cultural experiences — calligraphy, gallery walks, downtown food trails

03 · A team-building programme for Jordanian and regional employers

04 · Three institutional instruments for peer civil-society organisations

By 2028, a meaningful share of our operating costs will come from what we earn — so grants can fund mission expansion, not survival.

خلال السنوات الثلاث الجاية، بننقل من نموذج معتمد على المنح لنموذج هجين بيخلط منح بدخل ذاتي:

١ · باكدج رحلات بيئية بيربط بين كوريدور عمان الأثري ومرشدين من المجتمع

٢ · أكثر من عشر تجارب ثقافية مدفوعة — ورش خط، جولات معارض، مسارات أكل بوسط البلد

٣ · برنامج بناء فِرَق للشركات الأردنية والإقليمية

٤ · ثلاث منتجات مؤسسية لمنظمات المجتمع المدني الشريكة

Six years. Hundreds trained. Dozens of women-led businesses. One neighbourhood.

Six years of continuous community programming in Downtown Amman.

Hundreds of young people trained in civic leadership and vocational skills. Dozens of women-led micro-enterprises supported from idea to market. A network of local artists, instructors, and cultural practitioners anchoring everything we do.

Partnerships with AFD, Lab’ess, and the SAMIM 2 framework keep the work plugged into a wider regional conversation about civil-society resilience.

The receipts, not the rhetoric.
ست سنوات من العمل المتواصل بوسط البلد.

مئات الشباب اتدرّبوا على القيادة المدنية والمهارات المهنية. عشرات المشاريع النسائية الصغيرة اتدعمت من الفكرة لحد السوق. وشبكة من الفنانين والمدرّبين والممارسين الثقافيين بترسي العمل على الأرض.

شراكات مع AFD ومع Lab’ess تحت إطار SAMIM 2 بتربط شغلنا بحوار إقليمي أوسع حول صمود المجتمع المدني.

Why Downtown Amman?

Because cohesion doesn’t get built at a conference table or in a national campaign. It gets built block by block — in a stairwell, on a stoop, in the queue at the corner bakery — and the only way to build it is to be there.

So we are.
ليش وسط البلد؟

لأن التماسك مش بنبنى من فوق، ولا بمؤتمر، ولا بحملة وطنية. بنبنى حارة حارة، درج درج، جلسة جلسة، طابور خبز خبز.

وعشان تبنيه، لازم تكون موجود فيه.

How we work, in three words:

Closer — programmes designed to shorten the distance between groups who would not otherwise meet.

Stronger — durable skills and institutions, not one-off events.

Self-sustaining — earned-income models that outlive any single grant cycle.

أقرب — برامج بتقرّب الناس من بعض، خصوصاً الناس اللي مش رح يلتقوا بحال ثانية.

أقوى — مهارات ومؤسسات بتدوم. مش فعاليات لمرّة واحدة وبتمشي.

مكتفون ذاتياً — انتقال تدريجي من الاعتماد على المنح لنماذج بتولّد دخلها الخاص.
