Get to know your District leadership!

Meet Gregory Gorski, District Treasurer for Rotary District 6980 and a proud member of the Rotary Club of Lake Buena Vista.

During his 25 years in Rotary, Gregory has served in numerous leadership roles, including club president, club foundation president, Area Governor, District chief of staff, chair of Pathway to Understanding, and chair of the Foundation Golf Committee.

As District Treasurer, Gregory serves as a steward of District finances. His responsibilities include collecting District dues, managing expenses, maintaining sound financial practices, and helping ensure that District resources are used responsibly to support Rotary’s mission.

One of Gregory’s goals is to help provide a successful financial transition for District Youth Services and its treasurer.

Gregory considers his year as District chief of staff one of his most meaningful Rotary experiences. The role gave him a greater understanding of how the entire District operates and introduced him to many new Rotary friendships.

Outside of Rotary, Gregory is a retired retail entrepreneur, an avid golfer, and a certified second-degree black belt. He and his bride, Traci, have been married for 41 years and enjoy having their three grandsons living here in Florida.

Please join us in thanking Gregory for his leadership, careful stewardship, and 25 years of dedicated service through Rotary.

Service Above Self is more than Rotary’s motto. It is a daily choice to place the needs of others at the center of our leadership.

Across District 6980, Rotarians live that commitment through hands-on projects, mentoring, partnerships and countless acts of kindness—often without seeking recognition.

Every act of service matters. Every Rotarian has something valuable to contribute.

Community economic development looks different in every community.

It may look like:

A student receiving support
A small business gaining a customer
Someone learning a new skill
A nonprofit finding new partners
A local family gaining greater stability
A Rotary connection opening a new opportunity
No matter what form it takes, it all starts with people who care enough to act.
